I am breast feeding and that has not been going too well. Im trying my hardest and I know he is too. He just isn't getting the sucking motion and latching on very well. I am going to see a lactation consulatant in the next couple of days so hope fully she will help. I never really did breast feed the girls. I did at first but it was so hard to breast feed 3 infants.LOL. I did pump and then bottle feed my breast milk. And I may have to do that with Chris.

Oh boy, do I remember those nights of only 3 hours of sleep. I think it is great that you are not giving up on the BF and that you are seeing a lactation consultant. Your persistence will be well worth it! Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

momma2jenna replied: he's beautiful! So glad the girls are such good big sisters! I had the hardest time bf Jenna, probably for the first...month I guess. It can be very frustrating but he should get the hang of it soon. Hang in there if you can, there's nothing easier or more convenient than bf. I hope the two of you can work it out together! I think I gave up way too early with both my boys and never sought help, kicking myself here, but think that with help I would have been more successful also I wasn't around here back then and if I was I am sure I would have been fine with the help of the great people here. Sound like the girls are adjusting fine and will be great mothers helpers.

The first week or three of bfeeding is really challenging. Keep at it, and I know you'll get it down! Good luck, and let us know if you need any bfeeding tips.
