I'm such a bad mommy!! LOLOL

5littleladies wrote: Last night we were all at Sara and hubby's house helping them put a ceiling fan in and I noticed Brianna squatting on the floor which obviously means she needs to go potty. I asked her if she wanted to go sit on the potty and she said yes but when we got there she had already gone. Then to my absolute horror I realized I hadn't brought any diapers and home is 25 minutes away. I ran out to the van to see if I had left any in there and I hadn't so I had to improvise. She ended up wearing a pair of her sister's panties (luckily I had a clean pair of those in the van) and a maxi pad! ohmy.gif blush.gif It was hilarious but I felt so stupid. Note to self-Do NOT forget the diapers next time. blink.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: ROFLMBO!!! rolling_smile.gif You're so funny!

Great JOB at improvising!!! thumb.gif I don't know what I would have done. The other day we went to a friend's house and Ethan pooped when we got there. Scotty had taken the diaper bag out of my car and I didn't know it. I could have gone home, but my friend got some pull ups from her neighbor...They were Disney Princess pull ups in a size 4T!! ohmy.gif Now THAT is a bad mommy! I told Ethan that we would never let daddy know our little secret that I put him in pink pull ups! laugh.gif Needless to say, we had a short visit that day with our friends. wink.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: ohmy.gif oh no how terrible, good job improvising

ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!

OMG......That is just too funny! And, such quick thinking on your part! thumb.gif I wouldn't hesistate to do the same thing if I were in your shoes, but I don't know if I would have been creative enough to think of that. thumb.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: ohmy.gif OMG I've so been there! Once when Claudia was about 3mths old, I went Christmas shopping with my mom and my sister. She was hungry so I went down to Sears (they have a really nice nursing room there) and I started feeding her, well doesn't she just let one rip while she is in my lap. So I went to change her and I took the diaper off and threw it in the garbage. Well I reached into the diaper bag and OMG I didn't have any diapers. I had to fish the diaper out of the garbage, I wiped off the poopies as best I could, put the diaper back on her, got her dressed and then had to walk all the way to the other end of the mall to buy diapers and change her again! My poor girl, I felt so awful, I've never forgotten the diapers again!

Don't feel bad, I think it happens to all of us at some point!

rolling_smile.gif LOL Aimee! Poor Ethan wearing PINK???? *GASP*!!!!

I would've used a blanket I had with, although down there in Texas you probably don't use one much when you go out. I need at least 2 on Kayla, or I feel bad. I'd hate to see her cold.

coasterqueen replied: rolling_smile.gif That's too funny! Good thinking wink.gif.

Maddie&EthansMom replied:

Yeah, not to mention it was HUGE! When he peed it leaked out the sides. blush.gif

Ethan is a blanket baby, but I had nothing on me. blush.gif I don't leave the house unprepared nowadays. wink.gif No, even in the winters we don't need blankets too often. tongue.gif

ctymom replied: That's some quick thinking though! thumb.gif But certainly doesnt qualify as a 'bad mommy' thing. But makes for some great stories when she's older! rolling_smile.gif

I have had to let KAty go commando (or whatever it's called for girls) We were out and she went through 3 diapers in a little under an hour...3 was all I brought with. Luckily she made it home (3 hours in the car) dry.

kimberley replied: LOL! way to use your creativity! rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Josie83 replied: I'm sorry, i'm sure it wasn't funny at the time but rolling_smile.gif emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif xx

A&A'smommy replied: OMG LOLOL!!!! rolling_smile.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: LOL. FYI, I did the same thing once...actually, I'd not thought of the maxi pad, my 10 year old sitter did.

I sent K to my aunts house for an evening. My aunt and her 10 yo step daughter were watching K but I forgot to pack a diaper. blush.gif when I came to pick her up she had on her pj top and a pair of the 10 yo's panties with a maxi pad stuck in them. Of course the panties were too big so they used a scrunchy to tie them up in the back. LOL.
