Im taking the bad mom award - for the day
mckayleesmom wrote: I lost Mckaylee today at the Px... . Mckaylee always rides at the end of the cart holding on as I roll....sometimes she crouches down. I saw her crouch down and when I got to the pillow isle...I realized she was no longer there....She must have hopped off and went to the left or right and I didn't see her. I went looking for her and she was with a sales clerk....The lady said "she is so cute, she came up and said Hi, Im Mckaylee and Im 3, I live at Pentucky, Fort Knock"...... ....I was impressed though because she remembered me telling her that if she ever got lost or couldn't find mommy to tell an adult her name. We practice all the time and she finally got to use her skills....
So..what did I win for the bad mommy award?????
ashtonsmama replied: How cute that she knew what to do! And don't sweat it, I'm sure we've all lost a kid or too...it happens! Heck, I already left Ashton! Yesterday in Target Ryan and I were taking turns carrying his carseat around since he was sleeping, and I thought Ryan was going to get him so I went to the next aisle, and some lady came up to me holding the carseat, going "did you lose your baby"? Needless to say, I was 100% embarassed. So no, I think I should get the Bad Mother of the Day award!
luvbug00 replied: wow if anything you taught her well to remember all that! I'd go into heaving convultions if i ever lost track of Mya, and Mya would be doing the same wherever she was lost at.
ilovemybaby replied: Well at least she knew what to do! That means you're a great mom
DVFlyer replied: Ask and you shall receive. Let's see if this shows up.......
mckayleesmom replied: Its bad that I lost her, but I felt good knowing that all that teaching paid off. She loves practicing where she lives and she knows our names also...except our last name...she says Shorts....and she has most of it right....but its off a little but ryhmes. She always says "mommy, ask me where I live"
ashtonsmama replied: I love it! I didn't know there was actually a real award! That's awesome!

I'm enjoying your stories of Mckaylee and Russell growing up. It takes me back. Thanks.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Love the award... !!
How great that she knew who to go to and what to say. If you were to ask C the infor I have taught to her, it would all come out jumbled. Like for her phone #, you may get the address. We are working on it, and need to some more.
Oh, and that is great that McKaylee is not shy and can walk up to strangers and begin talking, our girls are at first and that may be a drawback if they are ever lost.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Nope you dont get it, I shoudl go to the lady I saw yesterday driving while letting a child sleep on her If she had not stopped at a house to pass him (I guess) of fI probaly woudl have called the cops. And dont get me started on the say she was driving.
I am glad she got to use what she has learned from mommy. That make you a good mommy.
b&bsmom replied: Loved that award I guess I pass the bad mommy onto you today. I had it yesterday. However from ds's sunburn yesterday he woke up with a blister on his ear which I popped this morning. i felt so horrible.
Glad all is well and she knew all her info. That does make you a great mommy. I think it cancels itself out
So Who's next???????
