I'm working hard today!
coasterqueen wrote: Boy I tell you I'm working up a sweat here! Megan is FINALLY sleeping in her Amby bed, not peaceful but she's sleeping. Although she should be waking up any time.
Anyways, I'm working up such a sweat watching Roomba vacuum the house! I don't think I can spend another moment of this.
No seriously, I'm actually cleaning the house! And roomba is vacuming. I finally got up off my baby blue butt and am doing something constructive.
Kaitlin'smom replied: glad she is sleeping, sounds like she just needed to get used to it.
I plan on doing cleaning next week while I am off work (day anyway)
I just poped on for a few to see whats going on.....back to work
kit_kats_mom replied: My house is nice and tidy. It better be, I've been working on it for the last three days. LOL
i still have to vaccum the rest of the house and roomba the kitchen before my mom comes this evening.
3xsthefun replied: That is good she is sleeping for you!
I done little cleaning this morning and will do some more when Maegy gets ready for a nap. We plan on being gone tomorrow evening so I want the house be clean. So I won't have worry about it on Sunday.
chloe&tysmommy replied: What will they think of next...I would love to own one of those Maybe they can invent an actually robot maid that will wait on you all day long and cook supper too that would be nice!
Glad to hear Megan is sleeping
gr33n3y3z replied: Roomba? isnt that a vaccum cleaner that goes on its own? How good does it work?
coasterqueen replied: Works great as long as you let it do it's job every other day or every day.
kit_kats_mom replied: I have one of the original models and it does it's job well. My only complaint is that the battery runs out before it can do the whole house. I'd have to recharge it about 10 times for it to clean my entire house. I want the one that returns to the charging station but dh said I have to kill the one we already have first.
We bought it when K was starting to move about and strewing cheerios all over. It picks up surface dirt and cheerios quite well. K never had a chance to eat dirt, leaves or carpet fuzz since I let Roomba loose downstairs every night. I still ran the regular vaccum once a week to get the deeper stuff but between vaccuming's it's a godsend for the busy mom.
I use it mainly in the kitchen now, and I let her loose every night. Better than a dog...no slobber.
Kaitlin'smom replied: now I want one, darn shoul dhave thougth about this before so I could have got it for moms day, oh well I will just have to look into treating myself to it
coasterqueen replied: I have the one that docks itself when battery is low. Dh says there is going to be a new one that comes out (when I don't know) that is supposed to be better than ever. He says he plans to get that one too because he said roomba is lonely and needs a friend.
A&A'smommy replied: awww Karen your so funny!!! I'm glad she is sleeping long enough for you to do something ELSE you need a "break" anyway I hope she starts to sleep peacefully soon!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I can't believe you would be in the same room as DH's "mistress".
I'm glad you are getting something done. I'm cleaning house today.
