In or Out - Whose kids are still in school?

My kids get out next Friday, but it's a half day. Thursday is a school picnic, so really, they've only got a week and 2 days of actual class left. Mason's done at the end of this week but I'm chaperoning the picnic, so he'll get to do that too.

And how little sense does this make - the last two days are half days. So they run the busses for two days instead of having one full day. I just don't get it. But I do know the teachers' union pretty heavily influences the schedule so maybe any teachers out there understand the reason??

Swood75 replied: Mine have 2 more 1/2 days..Yesterday was a whole day and today,tomorrow and Thursday are all 1/2 days..BIG waste of gas if you ask me..
