mummy2girls wrote: LOL... thsi happens to me all the time! I clean my car and vacuum it out and then say it will not get dirty and then 2 weeks later it looks as if a bumb made its way into my car and built themselves a home...LOL... Man was this a long sentence!

luvmykids replied: My Excursion used to be like that, you name it, it was in there! Seriously! But with the new car I've actually become anal, I go out and clean it out every evening and take it to the car wash every Friday!

Nina J replied: I gave up cleaning my car ages ago. I only clean it when the mess acumulates so much I can't get in rolling_smile.gif

amymom replied: Great idea Monica! I am going to give that job to someone at my house!

TheOaf66 replied: No one else usually rides in my car, so all of my essential things are in the passenger seat next to me...tapes, gum, altoids, phone charger, etc. If someone does want to ride in my car it takes some time to actually move everything so they can sit. smile.gif

coasterqueen replied: laugh.gif I told DH all I wanted for Mother's Day was for all of us (kids included) to clean out my van on that day and make it smell pretty. With a lot of force from me we accomplished it and I promised myself it would stay clean after that. Well that lasted about a day. rolleyes.gif I'm terrible!

lisar replied: No matter what I do if I clean the car out and tell my self I am not gona fill it back up with all the kids stuff it never failes its full again within a week. And then it takes me forever to clean it back out.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: My old truck was REALLY bad. Everything you could ever need was in there but now with the new one it is CLEAN! laugh.gif cool.gif Tay has blankets in the back seat because it gets chilly and those stay folded if not in use,her books or games go in the pockets in the seats and no drinks that are not clear! rolleyes.gif -NOw if I could just get my house to stay that way rolling_smile.gif

mckayleesmom replied: I have 2 toddlers....you can guess my answer. thumb.gif

ions_momma replied: We are always running around everywhere, and with Ion is sports, there are always basketballs, baseball, etc. in the car, so its hardly ever clean!!

AlexsPajamaMama replied:
Sounds like may Dads truck! He says its his portable office!

MomtoPate replied: I only clean mine when Cody (husband) gets so upset with me and he can't stand it anymore....our car is the only one that we can all fit in, his truck is only a two seater, so when he get mad, we clean it and I always say, "keep it clean" to myself, but who am I kidding?!? That is just not me!

~~*Missi*~~ replied: i barely ever see the inside of the car LOL.... DH always has it. but when i do see it I am usually nagging at him to clean it tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: haha it takes ONE day for ours to get back to what it was papers, bottles and stuff everywhere lol rolleyes.gif

JP&KJMOM replied: When I clean mine it might last a week but that is it. I usually have to have a trash bag for trash and a laundry basket toys, jackets, soccer ball, shoes and whatever else migrates there. laugh.gif

5littleladies replied: Lets not even talk about the inside of my van. rolleyes.gif I tried cleaning it out last night, but the kids leave so much stuff in there that even when the garbage is out it is still a mess. dry.gif

luvmykids replied:
My new rule too! And no food unless the trip is over 2 hours! When we got rid of the Excursion I could not believe all the crackers and french fries that accumulated, it was enough to feed them all for the next 3 years! ohmy.gif

Brias3 replied: Oh, this is totally me. I keep putting off cleaning it out and when I finally do, it seems that you can't even tell two days later after three kids have trucked through it half a dozen times dry.gif Oh well, such is life! laugh.gif

I do make an effort to run it through the carwash every time I fill up with gas to keep the outside decent and then once in awhile, I can convince DH to handwash and wax it and even get to the inside. A couple of weekends back when it was super nice, I took the time to vaccuum it out really well, wash the windows and Armorall the whole thing but its impossible to tell now blush.gif

luvbug00 replied: Again I say Brads car looks straight off the lot and mine looks like ..mine. a chaotic mess. except i don't allow food to mold in my car that is the ONLY exception.
