Is Anyone else REALLY tired?

Mommy2M wrote: I feel like i have been hit with a truck for the past 2-3 weeks! I can sleep 10 hours all night and wake up and feel like i neeeeeeeeeeeeeed to go back to sleep. I dont remember feeling this way with Meadow but then again, when i was pregnant with her i could sleep all day, i didnt have a toddler to chase around.
I think I want a bottle and Binky now, lol rolling_smile.gif

juliajaj replied: I feel the same way. I asked my OB/GYN about it & he said that each pregnancy takes a little bit more out of you, so that's why I'm more tired with this pregnancy than I was with Olivia. Also, when I was pregnant with Olivia, I would rest when I was tired. Chasing a toddler around cuts down on the resting time. Even when Olivia naps, I try to get housework done, so I typically don't rest too much until after dinner when we all start winding down.

I feel the same way. This is my first and between working and home I should not be as tired as a mother with a child at home. But it is correct that pregnancy takes alot from you. Our bodies and hormones are going out of control to make a good environment for the baby to grow in. Just me patient and sleep. If you are tired and able to take a nap do it. I know it must be even harder when you have a child at home already. For me I am tired after work and when it comes evening time I am up and ready to go. In the morning I feel like I have been very sick and want to stay in bed. This is normal. Good luck. angel.gif

Angelikas mommy replied: I can't tell how far along you are right now because the lilypie pages aren't appearing at the moment, but if you're still in your first trimester, it's very normal to feel tired all the time! I was going to bed at 7:30 every night and getting up at 6:30 every morning and that wasn't nearly enough sleep! It slowly started getting better for me around the 13th week. I started staying up to almost 9pm and then all of a sudden it was back to the normal 10-11pm bed times. I'm now 22 weeks along and I have my old energy back. But there at first, I would come home, eat dinner and then head right to bed. I'd read for a little while, but I'd be zonked within a 1/2 hour! You'll get your energy back soon enough though!

A&A'smommy replied: yeah me too lol but I'm not pg! I Hope ya'll enough rest and feel better! (((HUGS))) to you girls!

kit_kats_mom replied: Short answer...YES.

CantWait replied: I was exetremly tired and fatiqued when pregnant with Anthony. At the beginning I slept 8 hours at night most of the time, and then when I wasn't working I slept all day. It continued the whole pregnancy, cause as time went on I got Carpal Tunnels and couldn't sleep at night. Hope you're feeling better soon.

maestra replied: Me too, but I'll take the tiredness over this morning sickness! dry.gif

jem0622 replied: Some days are worse than others. I try to get 8 hrs a night but it doesn't usually happen. More like 7 hrs. And on the weekends I rest when the boys are napping.

I am almost 10 wks now.

Mommy2M replied:
Oh some HOPE!!! I am 13 weeks 3 days today, so now i am waiting to get some energy back!!! I hope it comes back soon before i just fall face down on the floor!
Ugh, someone just give me a good shove to the bathroom please??

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Well I'm not pregnant, but I have been exhausted lately! It doesn't seem to matter what time I go to bed either, I am just so tired! sleep.gif

kit_kats_mom replied: I found the solution...coffee.
I guess that I really am addicted to caffine. I had not had a cup of coffee for a week and have had terrible headaches and I've been taking 3 hour naps everyday in additon to my 9+ hours of interrupted sleep with K. At 7-8 weeks pregnant, I've really been trying to avoid caffine but I had a cup this morning. What a difference! I was able to get some work done, avoid a nap and play with K this afternoon.
I will be adding one cup of coffee per day to my regimine. dry.gif I hate being a slave to that stuff.

A&A'smommy replied:
I read somewhere at the end of my pregnancy with alyssa that two small (I think it was like 4 ounces or something) of coffee a day is safe, I was VERY happy to find that! rolling_smile.gif
