I think it only mentions my name like 27 times in the song. People sing it to me all the time!!! "Hey - have you heard that song???" Yes, I have.
There's also a song named "Jolene" by Cake:

And long ago I picked out my nick SweetDream from my ex-boyfriend always saying sweet dreams in place of good bye. This was like... 6 maybe 7yrs ago.
So with my nick there are at least 3 songs I know of by the Eurythmics, Marilyn Manson, and air supply.

That group is from my hometown....(Bowling for Soup)  The lead singer, Eric and I used to hang out at a local coffee house. Not that he would ever remember, but that was about the time he formed the band.

I think the name of the song is Sarah....its an oldie...I believe it came out a few years before me but maybe in the early 80's (I'm 24).....I know the 80's are not really oldies......

It is amazing how big they have gotten.  They are really talented. They used to play at this small coffee house I went to in JR HIGH!! And the lead singer grew up with one of my best friends (they worked at this coffee house together..she is much older than me). I really don't "know them", but know of them and supported them on their way up. That was SO long ago. Seems like yesterday.

Of course, my biggest music/name related nightmare was being in Junior High during the peak of the Donny and Marie craze. OMG... and there was even a guy named Donny in my school. People WOULD NOT leave us alone. Oh, like it's funny to have people trailing you down the hall wailing "I'm a little bit cooooouuuntry..." every day.

Okay, I have no idea what the name of the song is or who sings it! It is a country song and it says something about "picking Amy up and eating moon pies."
