Is this place I live weird or is it like this - everywhere?

Littlejojames replied: It falls on Sunday here. We dont really celebrate it here, me and craig do though its our official anniversary of when we finally got together after messing around for so long.

The children in england only really celebrate it for the money which they get trick or treating which i hate, i would love to have a full halloween celebration for the right reasons

Jamison'smama replied: Things around here are very strange---the main city--Columbus and the surrounding cities may all have it on different days and times---this year it is the same for most---Thursday the 28th from 6:00- 8:00 the surrounding city where I live is on the 31st from 6-8.

favre4fan replied: Someone in my neighborhood decided that its going to be done on Saturday. I sure wish i could have been consulted before an anonymus letter was stuck in everyones mailbox!!

My2Beauties replied: Since it fell on a Sunday this year a lot of counties around the US have decided to move the celebration to Saturday night since Sunday is a holy day! We are celebrating in on Sunday but some surrounding counties here in KY are celebrating in Saturday night as well!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: The base will have TRick or Treating on Sunday night. Then we are having a little get together. Around here it is always celebrated on the day. I guess it just depends on where you are at.

mama3x replied: The trend seems to be the trick or treating house to house is done on Halloween night but the really big parties at clubs or in Waikiki or mall trick or treat promos are done on the Saturday.

Of course I know people who are going to celebrate both nights!!!!!

TeagansMom609 replied: We celebrate it on the actual day it falls on. Actaully someone told me at work the other day that alot of places in NJ are trying to get kids to not go out trick or treating and instead they have big parties at YMCA's and stuff. I guess its just not safe enough anymore..
