Is this too girly?

hoosier momma replied: I don't think it is too girly. I think you should send it now because I am sure it won't be the only thing you decide to send him while he is gone. Personally, I like the first one better just because I like those candies better. The second one has more variety though.

Twelve Volt Man replied: As a guy, I'd suggest putting together a gift box of his favorite candies, cookies, and/or chips. It'd probably be a whole lot cheaper, and you could make sure he gets only the things he really likes. Include an issue of Stuff magazine (it's a non-porn guy magazine) or some similarly entertaining toilet reading, and he'll be thrilled. If he doesn't like it, let me know and I'll give him my PO box, so he can forward it to me!

I'm sure he won't be disappointed with either of the choices you listed, though! It's very nice of you.
