Isn't it 'take your daughter to work day'?
C&K*s Mommie wrote: I asked that question to Chris this morning; Kellie is being a real p*ss pot today, and I do not know why. If he could I would send her off with him, in a heartbeat! The only thing I can figure is that she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and Christian is not up yet.
It is going to be a looonnnnngggg day... I have errands to run, and if one was not of high importance I would avoid going out all together with her being in a bad mood.
UGH!
coasterqueen replied: I was thinking "Oh shoot, was I supposed to take Kylie and Megan to work today! Yikes! I can't believe I forgot!"
Then I read your post and realized it's not.
I sure hope she's just having a grouchy morning and snaps out of it soon for you Kylie has those mornings.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Sorry, Karen. Unfortunately it has passed- "take your daughter/son to work day" is the fourth Thursday in April.
BAC'sMom replied: My heart skipped a beat too. YOUR mean!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I know..... LOL One day they (the girls) will realize it, too!
PrairieMom replied: I've tried that with DH too, but he always insists it's not. He says, "You think I escape when I go to work, but when i leave here I WORK" um... yeah, that may be, but when he gets to walk out the door in the morning, he is TOTALLY escaping!
C&K*s Mommie replied: Tell me about it, Tara! They have their 'paid getaway'.... getaway from the kids... LOL
AlexsPajamaMama replied: It's completely a whole differant kind of work they do when they get to step out of the house!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: lol - is it wrong of me to say that when I was working at the government, and DH would be the one to get the kids ready in the morning, since he worked later and closer to home - I'd leave an extra 30 minutes earlier just so I could sit at my desk and read, or nap?
I'd have to be at work for 8:30 - it was a 45 minute busride - instead of taking the 7:15 bus, I'd take the 6:40 one... Heck I was up before the kids - I only saw them a few minutes in the mornings - they didn't get enough time to ruin them...
pretty bad, eh?
coasterqueen replied: I knew there was one in April. I couldn't take Kylie because of a crazy session and Dh was out of town. I just wasn't sure if there was another one. I'm new to this sort of thing.
ashtonsmama replied: Sorry--good luck!
salmndr007 replied: Ok, here is an odd question...if your wife is pregnant with a little girl during take your daughter to work day, do you take your wife since that is where your daughter is?
C&K*s Mommie replied: LOL I know you are only joking.... but let's look at it this way : Let's see Sal, your wife is beautiful - you probably would not be getting much work done for keeping the other males at your work away from her. So nahhh....
holley79 replied: That is so funny you said that. Shawn said the same thing last night when I was leaving for work.
C&K*s Mommie replied: What?! A father trying to get out of watching a baby..... ?! tsk~tsk~tsk ~Shame on him!!!
holley79 replied: You are just wrong Rocky. LOL. That's a good one though.
holley79 replied: I know imagine that... Shame for shame. I think he's more excited about me going to days then I am. LOL (I didn't think it was possible though.)
