gr33n3y3z wrote: 90 degrees in the house I just looked I dont think it goes any higher blink.gif

coasterqueen replied: OMG, you don't have the AC on? Wowsers! I'd be passed out on the floor by now. I've let the house get to 85/86 but that's about it. The heat index here is 111 right now. wacko.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: It hit about 98 here today....and of all days, my car broke down on the interstate in the blazing sun and I had to sit alongside of the road for 1/2 hour waiting for a ride. mad.gif

But at least I have air conditioning in my house!

Halo42101 replied: Wow! I am sorry it's so hot in your house. C'mon over here and enjoy the AC with me. You don't live that far from us. wink.gif

Jackie012007 replied: oooh yeah it's right up there today... we actually have a heat advisory in place until 9pm! It's 95 with 65% humidity!!! God bless those who are in their 3rd trimester in this heat... I'm only 14 weeks and I'm dying!!

Halo42101 replied:
I am sorry to hear that too. That must have been terrible! I hope you were able to get cooled off quickly after your ride showed up. hug.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
not this year
were in the works of getting the house remodeled we just have to wait for the guy to get his renovation license renewed and were off to gut the house to the shell and start over.
So its in the works
Next year look out bc it will be so cold in here you could hang meat for a week LOL

gr33n3y3z replied:
Awww ty Jessi your way to sweet
I wish I could come up there smile.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
Oh no!!!!
thats not good
$$$ and the heat

gr33n3y3z replied:
thats what I kept reminding myself of
More ppl. out there worse then me wink.gif

Boys r us replied: OMG...Lisa..I know your pain! It is 2 degrees from 100 here and even thoughI have the a/c cranked and on 60 degrees..it's still 80 degrees in this house..I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: It's boiling here too. It was about 42 degrees outside today with the humidex... that's about 107 for you guys.... wacko.gif

mamasbigbaby replied: I'm sorry it's hot over there, I keep it 78,0 in my home!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: OH.MY.GOSH.

How in the world will you sleep tonight? Our house is like a meat locker year round. I can't take it being hot. And we're in Texas! blink.gif Yep, our electric bill is VERY high in the summer. rolleyes.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
I feel for you Nichole with the heat and carring your little girl
This heat has got to let up
They say tomorrow is going to be bad also here and since were not that far away from you I guess your getting it tomorrow also
Just try not to move much thats what I'm doing lol

gr33n3y3z replied:
geeze how are you dealing with that??

gr33n3y3z replied:
get in the shower and walk slowly to the bed and hope to fall asleep fast LOL

Ed wont go to bed if I'm awake
he waits until I fall asleep first LOL bc he doesnt want to hear me say anything about his body heat tongue.gif

amynicole21 replied: Egads! We've had the AC on since March dry.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: I can't imagine! Sal comes home from work and almost has to put on a parka because i have been keeping it so cold. We live on the second floor of an apartment, and we get direct afternoon sunlight so it keeps its toasty inside even when you have on AC so its set at like 65 lol smile.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: Yup that was us yesterday too. 94 inside. 99 outside. We have A/C in our room but the rest of teh house is a log cabin and it has 30 fot ceilings, so ther ereally is no way to cool the main house off (central air isnt' an option right now as teh ductwork would be near impossible to run through teh log AND it would cost and arm and leg for an installer. SO we're looking otehr opitions. BUT for now when we cant' take it anymore we all just hang out in our room , or in teh basement (it's finished and MUCH cooler) or go to my moms. she has central air wink.gif

kimberley replied: yuck! i feel your pain. it was 94 or something stupid here yesterday too and we don't have AC either sad.gif we just tried to stay as still as possible and the kids soaked in a cool bath a few times. hope it's not so bad today for both of us. hug.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
your in Florida right?
I would have had mine on also if I lived there bc you couldnt pay me to live there with out AC
If you turn it on in March when do you get to shut it off?

gr33n3y3z replied:
lol

gr33n3y3z replied:
It doesnt feel as bad as it did yesterday but maybe I'm use to it blink.gif
we shall see what the next hour or 2 brings
But I think after today its going to get better
I can only pray for us bc I dont think I can take another day like this again
hug.gif hug.gif

Jeffs Wife replied: it has been around 90 degrees here for the last few days and I can't get my house to get below 85. we have an air conditioner but we have moved into a bigger house this year and it wouldn't do us any good to use it which doesn't break my heart cause I hate air conditioners, they make me way too cold. The rest of my family wishes we would use it and I know the power company wishes we would. But for now we just have a couple of fans going and I try to keep the hot sun out as much as possible.

If we get too hot, we go shopping LOL. The stores are always nice and cold, especially the supermarkets, I freeze in there and my DH makes fun of me, he tells me I'm crazy for being cold it feels good.

I feel for all you pregnant woman dealing with this heat, I remember what it is like and it is no fun. Do anything you can to say cool....Michelle

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Nasty humid here in Maine too
After today though its supposed to cool off, be less humid
They (weather guys) said we are going to have thunderstorms this afternoon into the night and that will cool things off a bit
Let it rain already, Ive had enough!

gr33n3y3z replied:
thats what I keep saying to myself
there are woman pregnant out there feeling it worse then me.
I remember being pregnant with 2 of my 4 in the summer wasnt much fun

gr33n3y3z replied:
I agree smile.gif

holley79 replied: OMG, I am so sorry. You want to come visit, I have AC

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: It's been pretty darn hot here and we too have no AC...I actually voluntarily went to Toys R Us yesterday so I could be in the car and store with AC biggrin.gif
The summer I was pg. with Katy I remember it going to 103 in my bedroom....I was ready to go live inthe water

My2Beauties replied: OMG ohmy.gif Honey I know that has to be miserable. Our air seems like it never goes off, because we set it to 75 and it seems like it's wanting to stay 80 in our house because it's so hot outside. It was 96 here yesterday and the heat index was over 100 degrees dry.gif It's miserable!

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Well, we spend lots of time walking around in underwear or bathing suits... and I have a fan blowing air over a bowl of ice water now and then... we do have A/C, but we restrict our usage to when the temp goes over 40 degrees C, cuz we don't want to pay crazy bills....we're already paying 120$ a month on equal billing... that's enough... we also have squirt bottles that we spray each other with cold water with when we get really hot.
