It's almost 9am
mommy~to~a~bunch wrote: And this is what I've done so far today, with the girls' help of course , after I nursed Abby, made breakfast, and got them dressed:
1. Fed & watered the chickens, pheasants, and chukars (about 60 birds total)
2. Fed & watered the 6 bunnies
3. Watered the flowers
4. Washed dishes
5. Swept the kitchen
6. Started making bread in the bread maker (I use it to make the dough then form & bake the loaves myself)
7. Washed the sheets & blankets Kayla puked all over last night (in our bed, of course )
8. Washed diapers
I still have to:
1. Make butter
2. Skim cream off of the milk for lunch & supper
3. Fold laundry
4. Vacuum the living room
5. Put sheets & blankets back on the bed
6. Make about 3,000 more cables (ugh, don't ask!!)
I might need a nap later .
mckayleesmom replied: It is 10:30 here and so far I have just sat here in a sleep deprived daze....
I do have alot to do today too though.
PrairieMom replied: No wonder youlike to nurse your babies so much, its the ONLY time you sit still!
luvmykids replied: It's 8:30 here and I haven't done a darn thing, I had to find the title to a horse trailer which took the first two hours of my day
MommyToAshley replied: Phew... yup you will need a nap.
I got about 5:30 this morning, and I've been working on work since then. I'm about 1/2-way done, but I will take a break when Ashley gets up and take her outside for a bit and then to the library. (Yes, it's 10:30 and she's still asleep )After lunch and the library, I will have to finish up work. I probably won't get to the housework until after dinner. It's not too bad though, I cleaned this weekend so I mostly just have laundry to do, and DH will probably do the dishes.
A&A'smommy replied: dang I'm jealous I haven't been able to do hardly anything cause of my stupid sinues I get to dizzy All I have done is feed alyssa, and her get ready for bible school and feed Autumn and sit here and hold her (which I'm totally ok with)
BUT I need to stick our boston butt in the crock pot, clean up a little and start some laundry oh and eat some breakfast
My2Beauties replied: Gosh I'm at work and haven't been even half as productive as you! Good for you
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Wow that's great! I've been up since 10:30, I'm so tired lately! Anyway I've put away all my laundry, sorted through some clothes, had a cookie and a glass of orange juice (guess I really should eat something before work). Then I have to leave at 1:00 to catch the bus to work. I start at 2:00 and I'm off at 7:00. When I get home I need to wash all the dishes (I have no idea how one person could use up every single dish, glass, coffee cup and silverwear, guess I'm lazy). Then I need to think about stripping my bed and getting some laundry done tomorrow.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Let's see, it's 11:30 here and all I've done is make the girls breakfast, get their clothes ready (nope, they're not dressed yet) and referee arguments. I'm gonna be very lazy today.
Brias3 replied: Eek, it's about 9:00PM here and I've done less all day than you did up until 9 this morning!
Tomorrow will be a busy day I guess. Today I had so much to do, just kept getting interrupted and by the time I realized it, I had to go get the kids at school!
TANNER'S MOM replied: I have days like that here on the farm too.
Do you have a milk cow? I don't remember what you said? I love fresh butter. Here it sells for about 4.00 a lb. But I can do w/out fresh milk!
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: No, we don't have a milk cow. We get our milk from a friend. And the butter turned out awesome, and tasted wonderful on the fresh, warm bread .
coasterqueen replied: Ahh the butter from a milk cow is awesome! We make our own butter from the milk we receive from our local farmer and it's great butter. The only problem is we were eating more butter than we ever had before - we stopped that fast.
