We didn't have an ice cream man in our neighborhood, but my mom did. My brother told my son (when he was about 2) that when the truck rang its bell, it meant time for Tea & Coffee. And all the boys and girls were going to get their moms, dads & Grandparents TEA & Coffee. He believed it for about two years. AND he tried to convince my dd of it too, but she wouldn't have any of it.

Brias3 replied: We actually don't get the ice cream man around here very often. In fact, I think I've seen him maybe one time in our neighborhood here. However, I don't remember the quacking version- I just remember the music!

Ours plays a very annoying song, pauses, says hello hello, then quacks then starts the annoying song again. Makes you want to shoot it.

We have an icecream truck that comes into our neighborhood, Alex acknowledges the music but has no idea what its all about yet. I'd like to keep it that way for now!

JP&KJMOM replied: We had one all last summer that came every night 10 minutes before supper. This summer we have had a new one and it plays really nice CHRISTMAS music! Not kidding here either!

we dont get one on our street...cul-de-sac, I do hear it occasionaly on the stree behind us.
