It's dark and scary!

Pray we have power soon, hopefully in the next few days. Sammy was so hot and so uncomfortable I was so sad for him. We did alot of cold baths but its going to be very hot tomm and I am dreading this with my sweet Sammy. The food in the frig is toast already and I am making bottle one by one as I need them. I have allhis baby yougart in the ice chest..we drove 2 hours to get ice from a city that has their own power supply. This is very very scary. Taylor is up the block spending the night with a friend, like they will sleep!

Mommieto2Girls replied: That's just awful. Try to stay cool. I hope it doesn't last to long. Poor Sammy and mommy and daddy and Taylor.

MomofTay&Sam replied: Thank you M2M I have 80% power on the comp left and I am soooo bored! We bought a battery radio and I am listening to that. When the comp gets to 40 I will shut it off. Daddy and Sammy are sleeping away. I have candles going and am just hanging in there. Tomm will be a nightmare if this isnt fixed.

Kaitlin'smom replied: its scary my parents were maby still are in the citym they were staying with friend outside of queens, I talked to them last night after 9p but dunno where they were gonna sleep! I hope you get power again soon!

My co-worker had just lifted off from JFK airport and gotten in the air when the power went out... Just in the nick of time!

ediep replied: Oh no! What a nightmare....DH got out og NYC within minutes of the outage! Thank God, or he still wouldn't be home.

MomofTay&Sam replied: Don't ever believe the news! We just got our power back about 6 mins ago! almost 25 hours with no power and they are saying that the rolling black outs will be starting soon. Sorry I cnt type alot, trying to tell everyone we are ok before we go down again. Thanks for all the prayers everyone! xxxooo

MomofTay&Sam replied: I think all the prayers have worked, no power outages for 5 hours now. I hope this is an end to the madness. If you are on the east coast please shut your lights and use only what you have to have!! The grid is still not up 100% and we almost lost our animals in the last 25 hours. Shut everything off.

I heard the same plea on the news tonight. I live in Southern Ohio... the outages were also in Northern Ohio. I do have my AC on because it is sooo hot and muggy but all the lights are off and all the computers are off except DH and mine. And, I will turn those off when we go to bed (we usually just turn off the monitor)

I hope your luck continues and the power stays on!
