It's snowing like crazy - and I'm loving it!!

Went out to shovel our sidewalk - it's only about 15 feet long - of about 8 inches of snow and by the time I was done and came back, it was covered again! I was only out there for 10 minutes!!

Had to call the school and tell them we'd be late. I'll bet blaming the dryer has to be a new one for excuses

sparkys2boys replied: I can't beleive that if it's snowing that hard they did not canel school?? They do here for anything..lol. Like today, its got cancelled and it's not doing anything, they are calling for freezing rain later on though.

booey2 replied: Wow, sounds like you got more there than we did and they cancelled all our buses today. The boys are bused in so they get the day off. I haven't seen them get out of bed faster, I guess all I have to say every morning is those 2 little word....."buses cancelled". LOL

Teesa®© replied: It's funny... if one flake falls, they cancel school. When there's a blizzard, the school's open. They're so retarded there.

It took almost half an hour to make a 10 minute walk to get there. I just got back. No roads are plowed or salted. There's sirens like every 5 minutes. Why is it that as soon as it snows, people suddenly forget how to drive??? Like HELLO??? This is Canad-eh, we get snow! It happens EVERY year... and every year they re-forget how to drive.


I have some nice ones I took last year, but I'll take some now and put them up... gimme bout 10 minutes....

booey2 replied: Wow, one brave mom you are. I would have kept them home had I had to walk them in. I hear ya about the drivers, here they not only forget how to drive but are very very ignorant. Just wished I coulda slapped one lady upside the head today, but instead I just went with the flow and took it easy on the way in.

ETA: I don't have any pics here but have some of the last storm at home, will post later tonight when I get home from work.
