It's that time again - Halloween decorations

CantWait wrote: Who's putting them up this year? Mine are going up hopefully tomorrow.

C&K*s Mommie replied: we never have had Halloween decorations.

hawkshoe replied: I always decorate for Halloween. I don't put mine out until Halloween day and take them down the next day. Crazy I know, but I like the kids to be surprised for Trick-or-treating. Here is how the house looked last year.

ediep replied: I have a few halloween decorations, but they aren't out yet....hopefull, I'll get to it soon

MoonMama replied: My daddy comes and decorates my house for holidays (thankfully). thumb.gif I love Halloween, I can't wait till next year when we'll have Braed to dress up. wub.gif

amynicole21 replied: JoAnn's craft store was having a 50% off sale this weekend, so I bought a few cute things to put out front. We don't usually decorate, but I got a skeleton and a cat that stick into the ground and a new fall wreath for the door.

Kaitlin'smom replied: We have a few things for outside but probably wont go up for a couple more weeks.

coasterqueen replied: I usually decorate more for fall, but a few Halloween stuff goes up in and outside. I just haven't had time yet. rolleyes.gif When the girls and I were traveling this weekend I noticed in some of the smaller towns we went through they ALL had Halloween decorations up. They were pretty neat to see. smile.gif

CantWait replied:
Looks great. thumb.gif
Our stuff won't be going up today, it's raining.

booey2 replied: I usually do fall stuff in the house and Halloween on the front window, but we got a beautiful new front window last year and DH doesn't like me sticking things on it. I think I will see what the kids want to do. My mom gave us a bunch of stuff for Halloween and fall so I may drag it out on Thursday night because I have Friday off and may putz around the house decorating on Friday.

mom2my2cuties replied: I keep having these grand desires of making a spooky haunted house in our front yard - but then I would be too chicken to take the dog out for his nightly bathroom break. smile.gif

Michael's had some GREAT stuff smile.gif I particularly liked the room markers that were labled as Morgue or Autopsy Room.

Boo&BugsMom replied: We don't do Halloween decor, but I do some fall related stuff, like pumpkins and scarecrows with hay. I need to go and get some pumpkins this week for decorating and for some lessons with the kids.

mom2my2cuties replied: I think I am worse than some kids this time of year - My husband and I were never allowed to even say the word Halloween as kids - and I think because of that we go through a mini rebellion this time of year and get into the spirit of things with trick or treating and stuff. Never actually managed to decorate...but that doesn't stop the desire.

I am going to get a pumpkin on Friday and paint it. I don't do jack-o-lanterns because they get all rotten and icky and it's just a waste. At least with the painting I can use the pumpkin insides later smile.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: We still do trick or treating. Tanner is dressing as Mr. Incredible this year. He's into super heroes lately. Boys! rolleyes.gif Troy and I combat on this subject sometimes. He wanted to let Tanner be a vampire and I said no, nothing scary-goulish-like. However, I remember being a vampire so how do I let that slide, ya know? blush.gif Oh, the agony! wink.gif

amynicole21 replied:
I saw these pumpkins at Joann's (are these everywhere or just Florida?) that you carve, but they are made of foam or something... thought it would be nice if we carved something nice and could keep it year after year!

boyohboyohboy replied: calebs birthday is halloween day, so we always combine the birthday celebration with some form of costume party for him.
this yr he is darth vader, and jake is a little red velvet devil...

i love to decorate for the holidays.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I was going to last year, but Logan's surgery derailed that plan. This year, I think I'll do a few things. I am definately carving pumpkins, I love that.

holley79 replied: Hopefully this weekend DH will get them up since I will be out of town.

MoonMama replied:
We have them here too, infact I think we have a few in this house that have yet to be carved. blush.gif I seriously lack art skills. emlaugh.gif
