I've never met a more pathetic man
Nina J wrote: I had to go the supermarket today to get a few things. We (Emily, Odessa and I) were lining up to pay, and Emily was looking at the magazines on the rack while we waited for our turn. She was holding the bread and the cheese for me, so she was just looking at the covers. A man came up and wanted the magazine Emily was standing in front of, I heard him say "Excuse me", but she didn't. He didn't bother to ask again or wait more than 5 seconds before he pushed her out of the way! She didn't fall over, but she did have to side step to keep her balance. Mean while the guy just bent down, got the magazine he wanted and left.
I would've slapped him if I wasn't holding Odessa and the other grocerys. I can't believe anybody would push a 3 year old, especially a grown man. I was so shocked, because you don't expect that kind of thing to happen, that I didn't even say anything...I wish I had of, I was so angry Afterwards I could think of a million things to say to him, which always happens..you think of the perfect thing to say afterwards
Anyway, Emily is fine, she looked a bit shocked at first.
C&K*s Mommie replied: JERK! Another "j" word came to mind first, but I put this one down.
hawkshoe replied: What a total Arse.
luvbug00 replied: Now see that's where i would have handed my child off to the teller and kicked his ....... NOONE tuches my kids! jerk!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Nope, nobody lays a hand on my kids.
ataylorm replied: It's people like that, that make a parent want to break a few laws. Reminds me of a radio interview with one of our Senate candidates the other day. He and the host got to talking about that baby that was taken, and the candidate guy said.
"I am just going to be very honest here, being a law maker, I expect people to follow the law. But as a father and a husband, if anyone ever hurts my family, I can guarantee you that I will be breaking a few laws. I am not going to say it's right, but as a parent, I think we all understand that there is no law that will protect someone harming our children, that's just something built into our nature, something we can't control."
C&K*s Mommie replied: : iagree:
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Nina I am so sorry! What a complete *^&&^%$#&^%*()(!!! I know what you mean about not being able to come up with something to say right then...it is still shocking when someone is so blatantly rude to one of our kids! Plus as a mom your first concern is Emily and making sure she is OK I am glad he did not knock her over but if you recognize him in the future a good hard tap with the cart never did any real damage-just hit him hard enough to make him side step the way she had to...accidently of course
mom2my2cuties replied: What a jerk.
I mean it is one thing to do something like that by accident, but holy moly - there is something called an apology! I tend to have quite the temper when it comes to my kids. And that guy would have been in for at the very least a choice phrase or two.
luvmykids replied: What a *&*^)*&^ He must not have kids or he would know what a dangerous move that was
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh I would have gone off on him.........I wont gointo the rest....NO ONE woudl push my child like that. Plus I think Kait woudl have siad something to him
TheOaf66 replied: good thing I wasn't there with Tanner and someone did that or there would be an announcement over the PA "Clean up at register 2"
Some people just have no manners
holley79 replied: People are so rude. What is wrong with people. I do that also aftre the fact I come up with all kinds of things to say but that's after the fact.
A&A'smommy replied: WHAT A JERK!!!!! SHe is a BABY why does he have to be RUDE to her!!!
