kimberley replied: the last 2 weeks have been nuts!! we had Jade baptised on sept 28th. my mom, nana and sis came in from Vancouver and stayed with me it was very hectic, but it all went off without a hitch. she didn't even cry my mom and sis left by the tuesday after, but my nana just left 2days ago. entertaining guests who like to shop everday with a 1 month old baby is nuts!!!

also, Jamie got a job last friday! what a relief, but stress on him. thankfully Jade is not getting up more than for a feed in the night, so he can get some sleep and he doesn't start until 9:30am, so he has time in the mornings too.

Jade is doing well. at her 1 month appt she was 9lbs 7oz and 22" long. she has been fighting a cold on and off for a couple of weeks (too many outings i think) but is still sleeping and eating well. she is starting to "coo" a little and has given a couple of awake smiles i am soooooooooooo in love with my little girl!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: awww, thanks for the update I was just thinking of you both and wondering about Jade. Sounds like things were hectic, hopfully things are slowing down for you and you can get some rest and Jade can get over the cold.

Aweeee! I love the new avatar picture... Jade is adorable. I just love it when they start cooing and smiling! I'm jealous again. But, happy for you!

Glad Jamie found a job. I hope he still finds time to pop in here once in a while too. I bet he's such a great Daddy. It was neat to listen to how excited he was/is.
