Jeans or belts??

I thought about putting a tuck in them but it looks funny in the jeans and I have in a few of his sweat suit & jogging suits and its ok but not great. But this isn't working for the jeans at all. What do I do?

DillsMommy replied: We got pants at wal-mart, jcpenny and target that adjust. Not sure if they have smaller sizes though. Dylans waist is so small, he needs one's that adjust too.

Our Lil' Family replied: I *think* most of the pants aren't adjustable until size 2T. DH bought Thomas a belt at Walmart and just made 2 extra holes. Sorry...not much help, I tend to have the same problem.

Although, I can't be sure whether or not the adjustables start in the infant or toddler sizes.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Ally, we just bought Wil several pairs of adjustable waist pants, including jeans, at Super Target. He wears a 3T though, so like someone else said, I'm not sure they make adjustable for smaller sizes. I know we don't have any adjustable waist pants for Wesley and he wears 12-18 month, but again, I have never looked. Try there though. They have a great selection and they were all under $9 each.

I would give you some of Wesley's clothes that are too small (12 mos), but they are mostly summer clothes, shorts and t-shirts. PM me if you're interested though.

Did you ever try Children's Orchard?? I went there last week and saw a lot of snowsuits. I bought a great Columbia reversible jacket for Wil for $12 (I think they are regularly $30) and a hoodie for Wesley from ON for $3. Both in great condition.

MoonMama replied: Thanks everyone. Couldn't find any adjustables in his size, But I FINALLY found little belts for him at Wal-Mart. And my mom is making him some.

My3LilMonkeys replied: This is where having girls is an advantage - Brooke wore a LOT of stretch pants at that age because the elastic waists would work better for her small waist in the length she needed. Unfortunately boys don't really do stretch pants too well.

I've seen adjustable waists as small as 12m at Gap and Old Navy.
