Jenna has been waking up sooooo much at night
mummy2girls wrote: Jenna has been sleeping as if she is an infant again. She is constantly waking up every 3 hours. She hasnt done this since 3 months of age. She usually only wakes up once and thats it. Now she is waking up at 1130pm 230am 500am, etc etc etc. Could it be because she is cutting some teeth. She has 2 teeth that just broke the surface but hasnt cvome up all the way yet. any ideas on how to ease her teething pains...
maliksmommy replied: If you find a cure please let me know because Malik is doing the same thing! Sending sleeping vibes your way~~~~~~
aspenblue1 replied: Isabella does that whenever she is teething. The only thing that worked for her was night time orajel and motrin.
luelth replied: Ethan hasn't hit the bad teething yet, but with my oldest, when he would be teething, I had to give Motrin at bedtime. He would sleep straight through when I did. Without it, he was as you describe.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I had this problem with Kaitlin for about a week or so, she has not cut any teeth so I think it was a growth spurt! She is now back to waking up once a night, however last night she slept all night! we got home around 11:30p (but she slept in the car about 1 1/2 hours) and did not wake up until after 7am! Yippy! anyway I am sure its just a stage and it wil work it self out. As other mommies said if she is teething then some orajel, or motrin, tyanol or somthing might be needed to help her sleep better.

mummy2girls replied: ive tried the advil and or tylenol but she still wakes up. Even the teething tablts dont work at night... is motrin diff from advil or tylenol?
mummyof2boyz replied: I am not sure what it is, but Motrin usually puts my kids right to sleep. The others never worked like that. I only buy Advil now for pain. It is great. Hayden went through this stage also. He just cut teeth in about 1 week ago and once they were out is when he started to show signs of pain and canky. It will pass likee everything else. Hugs to you and Jenna
maliksmommy replied: I just went and bought some Motrin to try for Malik tonight so I'll let you know if it works and then you can try it on Jenna:)
mummy2girls replied: sounds goo..post to,orrow morning and i will check it out and if it worked i will buy some....
jdkjd replied: The Motrin lasts for 6-8 hours instead of the 4-6 hours for Tylenol. And the Motrin definitely seemed to help Bailey more-esp. at night.
Mommieto2Girls replied: The night before last Madison was so cranky. She would wake up crying and not even open her eyes. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I gave her a bottle, changed her and nothing helped. Finally I saw her chewing on her finger and the little light blinked on top of my head. lol Her gums hurt. I didn't think she was teething because she got her to bottom teeth in with no pain what so ever. But I guess the top are different comming in . I gave her tylonol that I had for her cold. Within 10 minutes she was out. I got her to bed at 3am and she slept till 10am. She is still a little cranky though so I gave her 2 doses yesterday and now I am going to give her another dose soon. There's no top tooth yet, hopefully soon though. Hope you get some sleep tonight. ~~~~~sleep vibes~~~~~~

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley is right there with you ...teething horribley! I tried Hylands Teething Tabs, Orajel and Tylenol. Nothing helped. Like we talked about in chat, I am going to try Motrin too.
