Jenna is sick AGAIN

Yesterday at daycare she hardly ate because she was coughing and gagging so much . And at night before bed and at bedtime she coughed ALOT!!! She couldnt even eat her bananas because she was gagging. She didnt have a runny nose last night but when she woke up her nose was running like a sive and sneezing non stop. And her cough is horrible. I feel so sorry for her because she is what seems always with some kind of cold.

ediep replied: I wonder if she is catching it from someone at daycare.....have you tried any pediacare? Jason had this runny nose thing that made him gag and puke and his ped reccommended pediacare and it really helped. She said to give one dropperful since the dosage is for older kids

How did the testing for asthma go? Or has she been tested for any kind of allergies? Maybe there is something at her daycare that she is allergic to?

pedicare? im in canada so im not sure if they sell it here..ill go look at walmart though and see tonight.

well she had an x-ray done and it came back as normal. no signs of astmas or anything bad. her lungs were clear. she cant be tested for allergies until she is 2 so her ped said to try to limit allergy stuff around her..such and smoke, animals, powders, air freshners. etc etc etc. it seemed to have been helping her because she seemed to be kicking that cough but now its back full force.

Hey I really don't think you have to wait to test for allergies. My cousin was tested at less than a year. I would double check on that...if she has a really bad reaction to something there is no saying what could happen. Don't mean to scare you... just wanted to say that her doc sounds like a real cooke (sp?)

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Poor Jenna. It might be just daycare stuff. One of the down sides of Daycare are colds get passed around a lot. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. It really does sound like allergies to me. Hopefully she will be able to kick some of this once she can start coming to work with you.
