Jenna loves her caregiver

mummy2girls wrote: This morning as i dropped jenna off the owner(terri) took her so i could fill out medication forms. And he took her out to the big kid room. She sounded happy but then started to cry. Then she was ok after about a minute. I finished doing what i was doing and went to go kiss jenna good bye. Allison(jennas caregiver)was holding jenna. allison was walking up to me so i could give her a kiss good bye and jenna actually back away from me and snuggled agaisnt allison. bawling.gif I felt sad but also releived because i know she is taken care of really well at this daycare. the previous one was horrible and jenna was never that happy. Terri the owner then says to me that jenna is fine if she doesnt hear or see allison but once she sees or hears her she crys and wants to go to her. But at the end of each day jenna always wants me even if allison is holding

~CrazieMama~ replied: I am happy that Jenna likes this caregiver. I am also happy that you do not have to worry about how Jenna is all the time. biggrin.gif

amynicole21 replied: What a relief!! I know what you mean when you say you are sad that she loves someone other than you, but that it makes you happy at the same time because you know she is happy there. Sophia had a teacher in the infant room that she LOVED. I was very nervous about her moving up to the 1 yo room because Ms. Edna wouldn't be there... she has just grown attached to the new teachers now, though smile.gif

I keep forgetting to log in today! That was me.

Heather replied: AW that is must be a huge relieve! I bet it gives you a better piece of mind.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: wub.gif Awwww that is so sweet! I'm so glad you found a someone wonderful to watch Jenna, that makes all the differnece in the world! We used to have a horrible babysitter, my DD wouldn't tell me anything that went on there but she would tell my MIL. I found out one day why she wouldn't eat bologna sandwiches anymore, the babysitter made her eat a rotten one! After that I stopped taking her there and we found someone else. The second babysitter was wonderful, my DS used to run to the babysitter, give her a great big hug and kiss and then look back at me to see what my reaction would be! rolling_smile.gif

coasterqueen replied: My boogabear used to do this with our caregiver. I would try to get her to wave bye to me or give me a hug and she would immediately cuddle up to her sitter. bawling.gif Now, she's going thru a phase where she has a death grip on me and doesn't want to go to her caregiver. Darn seperation anxiety.

I'm glad Jenna likes her caregiver, though. wub.gif
