Jess??
grapfruit wrote: I haven't seen anything on/from Jess lately. Did she go in to have the baby??
youngmomofone replied: I hope not but if so I hope the baby is healthy and Jess is doing wonderful.
Mommy2Isabella replied: Im still here! Hanging out, getting ready for baby.
We are trying to avoid certain dates ... July 29th, August 1st, and August 8th. But anytime after that we are good!! or inbetween. We are hoping he arrives this weekend. He is measuring around 6lbs I have had a good amount of intense contractions today ... but hoping to make the 35 week mark on friday and then have him ...
I have a few call buddies, I am on facebook way more than I am on here. So ... Facebook Me ... lol
PrairieMom replied: ETA* never mond. LOL I should have read the other posts.
coasterqueen replied: I sure hope they are right on his weight because a lot of times they are not. They thought Kylie was bigger than she was. With Megan, since I had her at 36 weeks, they thought she was much smaller than she actually turned out to be.
P&pt's with you. Hopefully they can keep that baby in there longer. Boys have a tendency for their lungs not to be as developed as girls.
A&A'smommy replied: I'm trying to find you on fb!!!
And yay you are doing great hanging in there like a champ!!!!
moped replied: Stay in there Ian!!!! 4 more weeks would be great!
They told me a few days before i had Laila that she would be an easy 10 pounds, she was under 8 pounds, so make him stya in there a while longer
youngmomofone replied: Glad you are hanging in there!
Mommy2Isabella replied: Jenn - you are crazy. 4 more wekks I will be dead. lol each day is a battle right now. I don't think it will be much more than a week at most, which will put me at almost 36.
Karen - that is their concern about him being a him and all. LOL, the weight can be off a lb either way they say. I have never have a baby bigger than 6lbs 13oz. But typically white males do the worst if born early so we are happy with each day that passes.
At the same time, I am totally ready to have the baby, all side effects considered, the more active I am allowed to become the more intense contractions I have.
coasterqueen replied: Are they allowing you to be active? I would think they/you would want you to be on total bedrest. I knew just with the problems I had with Megan when they said bedrest, even with Kylie around I DID bedrest.
Mommy2Isabella replied: Since I am days from 35 weeks, and we have done the steroids for his lungs I am allowed SOME activity. For the past 6 1/2 weeks I have been on STRICT bed rest only allowed up to go to the bathroom. I was starting to get depressed, so they have allowed me to have some activity. I went to church for the first time this weekend in weeks and it was such a relief. I am feeling so much better now that I can see people.
I am totally not doing all activity but starting friday we no longer have childcare for the kids, so I will be back to normal activities there is nothing we can do our babysitter leaves for college.
We are still being cautious don't get me wrong, the longer he is in the better we know that. Like I said each day that goes by is fantastic. we just don't know how much longer my body can take it.
Calimama replied: I thought you said in another update that they were letting your husband stay home? I'm so behind!
I'm sure you must be going crazy but this weekend is way too early for him to come IMO. I understand being miserable but the longer he bakes the better, so hang in there.
Mommy2Isabella replied: DH is home sometimes .. he is working a weird schedule to accomodate my bed rest.
Starting next week that all changes, we have child care lined up Monday - Friday right now from 8 - 2:30 more or less. Next week we don't have any of that anymore. So I will be with the kids full time during those times.
