i graduated when I'd just turned 17, Worked in a coffee / donut shop... worked there for a few months.. was fired because I was keeping my tips rather than sharing them with the owners two sons, who "worked there", and by 'worked there" I mean sat around in the back playing cards while I worked.

I started working for the government around christmas... kept that job for a couple years, til I got knocked up the first time... went on mat leave, and they sent me notice that they were going to terminate my contract if i didn't go back to work.. so I did.. did almost 5 yrs at that job...I was a Processing Assistant in the Access to Information and Privacy office of the Department of Justice (in essence I got to blank out documents that the general public wouldn't see, had lots of dealings with the Canadian Firearms Centre, the RCMP, and the Queens Privy Council. Best job I EVER had! )

then got a better job, same department, when I was 21, I was now an Administrative Assistant, I was working int he Legal Aid department of the Dept. of Justice... same deal, got knocked up... except this time i changed jobs when I was 6 mths pg... went to work in the Legal section still, as a legal assistant, but in the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs. Did my mat leave... came back.. then we moved to Joliette, I left that glorious job...

became an events planner on the side, of being a full time office coordinator. I basically arranged the whole office... the procedures manuals and forms etc... all me. Ijits... ah well. Bygones.

Then I focused more on the events planning side of it...

Then when we moved back here in April 2006... I did daycare. I did it until October 2007... and have been teaching music on the side an evening or so a week since.. um.. 2004? Now, That's what I do, pretty much 5pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday and only an hour on Fridays. smile.gif
