Jordan will be here today!!! - I just got off the phone with Carrie-Ann

Poor thing went in for a routine check and when they hooked her up to the monitors she had a contraction and Jordan's heart rate dropped a bit. So they said "we are keeping you and you wiil have this baby today". Since they just moved, she doesn't know anyone there, and DH doesn't even know where the hospital is. They also have been relying on thier cell phones and never got a land line installed. Well, the cell phones don't work in the house and DH, who's home with Jade, is basically unreachable.
Carrie ann was a bit upset and from the sniffiles, I'd guess she'd been doing some crying. She wasn't expecting this at all & she wanted to hug Jade. She is also nervous about the labor, induction and her DH not getting there. All understandable fears.
SO, I got her number and told her I'd call her back. After battling with my cell phone (stupid thing is never charged when I need it) I got the Military Police on the phone, gave them their address & told them what was going on. they are sending someone out now to tell him to answer his phone & get to the hospital. I called her back, told her what I'd done & told her how excited I am for her. I told her to relax & chill & that everything would be ok. She said they were getting ready to start the IV soon.

I sure hope Jordan is a lot less exciting once she gets here!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Sounds somewhat familiar...I went in for a routine checkup, got on the monitors, had a couple contractions and Wil's heart rate slowed. So they admitted me to the hospital that day. I didn't get a chance to go home. I drove myself. She should be okay. My induction went great and I had about 12 hours before Wil was actually born. So her DH should have time to get there. I know that not everyone's inductions goes as smoothly, but I have a good feeling about her! She's in my thoughts!
