Just Had My First Doctors Appt. - surprise ultrasound!! pic inside!!!!!!

So today I thought we were just going to be introduced and asked a bunch of questions and then go from there. I was going to BEG the doctor to AT LEAST let me hear a heart beat.


So we got there and talked to him for a while... I didn't bring it up yet and then he asked me to pee in a cup and change into hospital like clothes. So I did. And he led me to a room and once I got in there I SAW A SCREEN TO A U/S MACHINE!! So he checked my cervix - yup, closed like its supposed to be. Did some "feeling around" - yup Im good. And then stuck a lubed up magic wand in me and turned on the screen. Then Brad came in. And boom, there he was "our little friend."

So there I am, feet in stirrups, legs spread wide open, and bottomless in front of a french man I just met. Brad came in and must have almost sh*t. Probably never seen something like THAT before in his life . Well the doctor couldn't tell the sex... but we saw the baby moving A LOT and his little hands and feet. The plancenta and the umblical cord we saw as well. His little heart was beating so fast and was so tiny ! It was so beautiful. Never thought I could feel such love and happiness in the position I was in at the time. Looked over and saw Brad with a huge smile and a tear in his eye. We both teared up (I teared up a bunch and it took awhile to recover!). Doc printed out a pic, that I am about to share with you guys. I stared at it all the way home. And brad would go... "Let me hold him." LOL.


So I only weigh 117 (when before I got pregnant I weight 112-115) So I am impressed. thought I gained much more. Must be just bloated most the time from gas !
