mckayleesmom wrote: anybody have any idea how to get it out? Mckaylee sprinkled some on the carpet and Russell poured water over it........I tried Oxyclean carpet cleaner and bleach....Nothing helped....only a big orange stain is there.
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh no. honestly I have NO clue, but it sounds like what my nephews did with red jello....she never did get it out.
ps Now they are workign as a teem? girl you got your hands full!
luvbug00 replied: Wow umm try Resove duel power cleaner. works on everyting for me.Good luck!
coasterqueen replied: Honestly I am not sure there is anything to get that out. That stuff stains so badly. Yikes, I hope someone has a suggestion that will work.
mckayleesmom replied: Ya....Im thinking it is now officially another stain....THANK GOD we rented a house that already had bad carpet for this reason alone....
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I use Shout stain remover on carpet stains...works very well! Those two really do keep you on your toes! Is it almost nap time?
BAC'sMom replied: I suggest a throw rug.
Boo&BugsMom replied: OMG! I am so sorry to hear about the Kool Aid. I'm not sure it will come out. Do you have a nice rug you could throw over it? I love rugs !
luvmykids replied: Try Natures Miracle, usually at pet stores. It gets out lots of stuff that nothing else does.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Ooooo, I love that stuff. Never thought of that. We had some for our old cat that peed in the house. It worked very well, for the stain and smell!
CantWait replied: Oh my. You really do have both hands tied don't you. Hope you get it out.
redplaydoh replied: Try plain old boiling water... but be careful for obvious reasons. Wear gloves so you don't scald yourself soaking up the water. Use white cotton towels to dab up the water and don't let it spread too much or the stain might spread. Use a tea kettle to boil the water in, it makes it easier to pour. This method removes most "old" stains including red kool-aid.
Next time when it's still wet dump table salt on it then vacuum it up... this absorbs most of the stain.
A&A'smommy replied: oooo I just love that trying to get stains out I wish I could come do it for you...okay I'm strange but anyway I hope you get it out!!!
Cece00 replied: How about one of those new spot cleaning machines???
