MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Good news and not so good news today. The ultrasound showed that the surgery that he had 6 months ago was a complete success. But it also showed that we will absolutely be going through another heart cath. With not too good of a probable outcome. Most likely within the next 6 -9 months Logan will have to have a valve replacement. Very scary as it means open heart surgery where they will have to stop his heart and cut his chest open down the middle. So, that is my day in a nutshell. I am still kind of in shock. I probably won't cry until I get the call from the cath scheduling department. I just can't believe that a child who looks so healthy can be so sick. Blows the mind. So that is my story. I am having a really rough day.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Well, that caps my day. I am going to go to bed, Aaron went up about half an hour ago. Logan has a bit of a tummy ache because he couldn't eat anything but apple juice for most of the day. But he is sleeping comfortably now. This just adds one more stress to my life. As if I don't have enough already. I love this little guy to bits. But he costs 5 times what other babies do. Wow, good thing for insurance. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts today. See you all tomorrow.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan is feeling better today. No more tummy ache, but he is totally starving. He's already eaten 4 graham crackers, 2&1/2 jars of food and loads of those fruit puffs. Not to mention about 20 ounces of formula/milk. Wow, he's like a hungry wolf pup. I am feeling better about things as well. At least Logan things. I spoke to my uncle who is also a cardiologist and he was really reassuring. Whatever happens, we will do just fine.

moped replied: Kelly, my neice went thru that same sort of thing when she was 6, and it was not the most pleasant thing at the time but she pulled thru jsut great and is now 16 years old and still has a touch of a murmur but all is well with her.........you can pm me if you like. My sister could answer some questions if you like
