Kids, weird things while they sleep?

TheOaf66 wrote: Do any of your kids have any weird traits when they sleep? Tanner does this thing where he bounces his head up and down on his pillow...it is hard to describe...his head will come up about 2 feet off his pillow and back down over and over...he is awake when he does this but he MUST do this when he goes to sleep and when he wakes up it is SO WEIRD.

lisar replied: Lexi grinds her teeth. It drives me crazy when I hear it. And she will talk in her sleep. It weird to wake up to that in the middle of the night and I can hear her. Raygen just has to have her Monkey with her or she will lay there and say Key Key Key over and over untill you find it and give it to her. I have 3 of them just in case. LOL...

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan can't sleep in one position. I put him in the crib with his head at one end and he's all over that mattress all night long. Feet sticking out the bars as he sleeps crosswise, head at the other end. No wonder I can't keep blankets on him.

jcc64 replied: One of my kid has occasional seizures in his sleep, where his mouth and tongue become temporarily paralyzed, he drools, coughs, and he never remembers it when he wakes up the next day.
My other kids laugh in their sleep

mom2my2cuties replied: Andrea talks and giggles in her sleep. smile.gif

Michael sleep walks.

Calimama replied: Bella laughs. blink.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied:
Don't forget he hums while he does it too. unsure.gif wacko.gif I dunno. It's very wierd.

I asked him one day why he does it and he said it helps him relax, or something to that effect. huh.gif I noticed though that if he's extremely tired, he wont do it. Like he doesn't have the energy or something.

stella6979 replied: Avery sleeps on her knees. She curls up and puts her arms underneath her. My nephew on the other hand....has those dang night terrors. sad.gif

TheOaf66 replied:
Tanner had those for the longest time, those things are creepy

Boo&BugsMom replied:
Tanner had the night terrors for a long time. Hopefully they go away. His did for the most part. They are a pain to deal with, especially since you can't really do anything about them.

stella6979 replied:
I'd been babysitting him for the longest time before it ever happened. My brother and SIL never mentioned it so when I did witness it, I had no idea what to do. It definately scared the crap out of me.

holley79 replied: Annika babbles in her sleep. I can hear her on the monitor and it drives me wacko.gif . During the warmer nights if she is just in a T Shirt she will pull on the tabs of her diapers. That velcro sounds gets under my skin.

Bamamom replied: Tripp plays with his ears. I'm just glad his "bank-bank" so to speak is attached!!!! rolling_smile.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke sleeps with her eyes half open - It's a family trait from DH's side and it creeps me out! wacko.gif
