Kind of disapointed
mckayleesmom wrote: Dh told me a while back that his Annual Training Conference for his battalion is being held in Panama...They are renting everybody beach condos or something. I asked when it was and he said he was told next year. GREAT...I have time to lose some weight. WRONG....We just got a newsletter in the mail and its in OCTOBER . I can't even lose a roll by October. Now I have to find a formal dress for the cow I have become. I tried on the dress I wore when Mckaylee was 6 months...It fits, but it doesn't look as pretty after having Russell too. It wasn't even a formal dress...Just a dress that I could fit my boobs into at the time...
I guess I better try to lose what I can......although Im pretty sure I won't be successful at it.....I will probably gain
I was really hoping to get a double stroller and start walking alot , but money is tight right now...I thought I had TIME.
My2Beauties replied: I'm sorry! If it makes you feel any better, I've seen you in person girl TWICE and you're gorgeous! Go have a good time and you'll look stunning!
mckayleesmom replied: Ok...Im ALOT disapointed
holley79 replied: Bri think positive thoughts. Just do what you can do. check the shopper/ news journal/ and resale shops to see if you can find a double really cheap.
mckayleesmom replied: I have.....Im thinking of taking Russells old crib in for consignment or trade...I also have an ad on Freecycle.
redchief replied: Sorry Brianne.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Agreed with LeaAnn. You are beautiful, and you will look great.
No matter what physical shape you are in, with confidence you will stand out. On a normal day to day basis, I feel like the frump that I am. But if I get dressed up (like for formal events or special events) than I feel great and I temporarily forget how I look. I feel great from the inside out.
So take confident with you, and you will look fabulous!
C&K*s Mommie replied: oh and Brianne. You can find cheap umbrella strollers anywhere, and they have little connectors that you can use to connect two together. It may not be a front to back stroller with stadium seating, but side to side is better than nothing at all.
coasterqueen replied: You ARE a beautiful person already Brianne. Being that said, I know when you have your mind set on wanting to be a certain way by a certain time and you don't think it's possible, it's heartbreaking. BUT I will say this, not to be mean, but to try and help you out. Even if you can't lose everything you want to lose, losing something is better than nothing IMO. I don't know when the exact date is in October for your event, but you have 1/2 of August and all of September to try to lose some of the weight you want. Most of the time, when people are starting out on their weight loss journey they will lose quite a bit in the beginning. So you will at least, if dieting correctly, will lose 6 pounds before Oct 1st. That's if you lose a pound a week and that's normal weight loss for someone dieting. That's not adding in the extra weight one usually loses in the beginning. So it IS possible to lose some before then.
You CAN do this IF you WANT to do this. When the kids are sleeping, get off the computer and work out. You don't have to take them for walks, workout in your livingroom while they are napping. If they don't nap at the same time, workout while Russell is sleeping and give something for McKaylee to do to entertain herself for 30 minutes why you are working out. It wouldn't be any different than if you were on the computer, right?
I'm here to support you if you want to do this.
mckayleesmom replied: I do go walking without the kids too.....I just think I could do it for longer if I take them with me...The only time dh is home is at night and we don't live on post anymore...so walking at night creeps me out. I do sometimes excersise when they are sleeping, but Im just not consistant....
I know its my fault....Im owning it....
coasterqueen replied: I hope you didn't take offense to my post. I just wanted you to see that you CAN do this if you want to and I'm willing to support you if you do.
CantWait replied: Sorry Brianne. Set your mind to it sweetie, and you can do it. Have a great time in Panama. Sounds like it's going to be fun and you'll look great no matter what.
