Kitchen question

top is the pull that I like and the other two pics are the knobs that I like

booey2 replied: I acutally like the pull, we have knobs with a silver satin finish on all of our upper and lower cabinets and drawers.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I dont have anything but now that you mention it I might do some, I do have knobs on the cabinets in the laundry room, I think I like them better.

coasterqueen replied: We don't have any on ours and like it that way. If I was going to do them, though I'd be terrible at deciding. I like all three of your choices. I think I like knobs better though.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: When we built our last kitchen, we put in similar pull style knobs like the first one, but only on the pull out bottom drawers. We put knobs on all the upper cabinets and our lazy susan. You can always do both is my suggestion!!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Would your cabinets accomodate the two holes needed for the first pull?? I think it mostly depends on the look that you are going for in your kithcen. Modern kitchen, definitely the first one. The second would be more suitable to maybe Tuscan inspired, or traditional looking kitchens. The last one would be great for an eclectic kitchen, or maybe even a french country kitchen because of the basketweave pattern. JMO's

ammommy replied: We have pulls on the drawers and knobs on the cabinets. The knobs that you showed are pretty, but remember that they will attract grease and dust. Those crevices are tough to clean

the cabinets would hold 2 holes but I really don't know what style they are....they are white washed oak so they have that pinkish look. We have greenish corian countertops and while appliances.

maybe I should go with something plainer??

C&K*s Mommie replied: Then by the sounds of it, maybe go with the last one shown or the basketweave knob, especially if you have no plans on the interior design of your kitchen. I like that white kitchen look, myself. But we would have to ALOT of redo just to get that clean, white kitchen that I would love to have.

As for the pic of the most recent knob, that was a knob that I had chosen to go on our black console cabinet, but it looked too fancy for it-- so we went with a more subdued gunmetal finish knob. But my pick is for the very last or the second to the last knobs. JMO.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Oooo I like the simplicity of the last knob you just posted! And like I said before, I think you could go with the pulls on the drawers and knobs on the cabinets, especially with the simple knob. I wouldn't want to clean in detailed crevices either...good point!

redchief replied: In kitchens, I like pulls best. Especially in kitchens that are used heavily. They hold up better than knobs generally.
