Kylie had her first bubble bath last night
coasterqueen wrote: Kylie got to take her first bubble bath last night. I was feeling like a bubble bath and I happened to mention it in front of her and she got very excited and wanted to take one with me so I said why not, lol. I was wanting to take one to destress and even though she took it with me it did help .
She had so much fun. I told her the only rule was she couldn't poor soapy bubble water all over mommy's head. Well she made it about 15 minutes into the bath and she just had to do it.

Kaitlin'smom replied: how fun! I gave one to Kaitlin last week and she also loved it, now I need to get her some of her own bubble bath.

MomToMany replied: Great pic! Looks like a lot of fun!
I wish I had a big tub like that !!
coasterqueen replied: Yeah I had to have Ryan take one where she was pretty much covered up so I could post it. Hee hee.
coasterqueen replied: DH and I wish we wouldn't have put it in. We would have rather had a bigger shower stall than the big bath tub. It rarely ever gets used because it holds 70 gallons of water and we only have a 50 gallon water heater right now. DH promises some day he'll get a bigger one.
Doesn't look like we'll get to use our big tub for awhile either. We found out last night that there is a clog in the sewer line somewhere and when DH went to use the basement toilet last night he noticed soapy bubbles in the toilet. So somehow the force of the 50 gallons of soapy bubble water draining did something to the sewer line. *SIGH* Just one more thing to fix.
Sunflower04 replied: Wow she looks like she had a blast and all the bubbles you made.. Joey's bubble baths never have that many bubbles.
Sorry to hear though about the problems it has. Hopefully it won't be a pain to fix.
kit_kats_mom replied: That is such a cute pic! I love bathtime pictures.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I'm so jealous of your tub!! I'd pick a huge tub over a shower any day. That would be a pain not having a big enough water heater though.
ediep replied: very cute pic! We have a tub like that and we never use it either. It takes so much hot water to fill it
3_call_me_mama replied: AHHH!!! You are all depressing me now!! I have been BEGGING DH for a big bathtub so I can take NICE LONG HOT BATHS (with a 2 year old adn a 1 month old, YEAH RIGHT!!!) but now i'm thinging it might not be a good idea! We are remodeling/rebuilding our main bathroom and he said i could get a big tub but now i'm afraid to spend the $$ on it especially since our hot water ssupply never seems to be there when you need it!! Maybe I'll do a little research but not let him see this post just incase it changes his mind but not mine! LOL!
coasterqueen replied: Get a smaller "garden" tub. Mine fits like 2.5 grown adults in it, lol. It's HUGE. I think it's too huge. Of course when we were building the house and DH wasn't letting me have things I wanted in it I fought and fought til I got the tub and I had to have the biggest one. Mine isn't heated those but there is some contraption on it that makes the jets circulate the heat so the water stays warmer longer. Don't ask me, though, lol.
I like to lean back with head propped up and you know..lounge in the tub. You can't do that with this one because it's so HUGE. I would have been happier with a smaller one. The thing is so long that I can't touch the end of the tub with my feet. Very uncomfortable, lol. It's fun when DH and I get in there together . But not just me or just me and Kylie. DH and I used to get in there and read every night just to relax.
Get the smaller ones Basically my advice is to GET IN the tub..try it out before buying it. Not meaning take a bath in it, but just sit in it..get into a position you'd normally be in in the tub (not with DH, by yourself. Hee hee) and if it's comfortable..get it..if not keep looking. That was my mistake.
