I'm no photographer, but I'm pretty happy and so is DH with what we got and will have as memories for the rest of our lives. My subject wasn't very cooperative most of the time, but I got a few good ones. She picked out what she wanted to wear so this was all on her. I took over 50, but I'm only going to show you some of them, probably more than you want to see though.

Sure. All I'd have to do is bribe them. That was on Kylie's birthday. I told her if I got 1/2 a dozen good pics we could then do the rest of the stuff on her list that day, which was the library, Chuck E. Cheese and Baskin Robbins. I had to remind her to stay focused many times, but it helped.

booey2 replied: So that is the trick to getting them to sit still. We still need to get into Walmart, haven't done a family pic since Thomas was almost a year old and that was 4 years ago. Great job again Karen.

BTW, moms & dads almost always get a better pic than a studio at this age! Why waste the $$ when you get pics like those!!

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone for the VERY kind remarks. I, of course, thinks she's beautiful, but I'm her mother.

I've never been super happy with photos I've gotten professionally done of her. It just took me a few years to realize how much money I was wasting trying to have them done. Course Dh told me right away. When she's cooperating she can really give you some awesome pics. Dh is really good at getting the great ones, but he couldn't take them that day. I hope to go get Megan's 18 month pics done at the park this weekend.

I'm super jealous of all the GREEN in the background. Oh my gosh...what is that?? Everything around here is D E A D Well, our yard is green, but it's the only one in the neighborhood and that's only b/c we have trees and Scotty fertilizes the crap out of it.

Yeah, it's still pretty green here. The leaves are just starting to turn so I can't wait to get them to the park and take some fall pics in a couple of weeks. I think I'm going to put them in their halloween costumes and get pics of them at there.
