Kylie's Christmas photo session......

Oh, I just couldn't believe it. DH and Kylie met me at Penny's after work. Kylie was in a great mood, but usually is when we actually arrive there to get pics done. We rush back to the photo studio and I quickly dress her. Her hair was a mess so I tried to make it look as nice as humanly possible, lol. Then I take her binky out of her mouth. There it was! A scratch on her cheek! I thought I was gonna flip! The binky was hiding it. So I quickly use some of my foundation to try to cover it up. Don't think I covered it completely, but it looked better.

I think it was a great time to take her becuz the studio was empty so we didn't have to wait or anything. We had a really nice young lady who took Kylie's pics. She was GREAT!!!!! She got 5 pictures of Kylie when she was smiling. We only got two poses done, and then Kylie started to throw her usual MAJOR FIT. So we tried to get her calmed down to continue, but she wouldn't have it. So we took what we got. But we got some nice ones!!! It was kinda good I only had a few to pick from becuz I'm horrible at choosing and DH was adamant that I didn't spend a fortune this time.

I think it was a combo of the time we took her, when she had her nap today, the fact that she hadn't seen us all day so she was thrilled to see us AND that photographer we never had before...that made the whole thing a success. We barely had to act silly to get her to laugh, either. The lady was so great with Kylie and was very patient with her and really tried with her. The other FIVE photographers we tried didn't work at all with her.

WHEW!!! I am so thrilled, we actually had a stress free photo session and I am so happy! I can't wait to get her pics. I should have email copies of them in 2 weeks so I'll post them then!!!!

My2Carebears replied: Glad it went well! I am taking Angel next week, So we'll see how it goes! I am happy she had a great photographer. Thats what really helps, Sometimes kids sense when people are just impatient and it makes them act worse!
