Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I think you actually have to place an order to make a new account. Remember though that you have to have a "buisness" address. My MIL made one up out of her home. She said she had a sewing buisness.

MomToMany replied: You can go shopping, then place what you want in your basket. Then once you click on "Check out", you will come to a log in page where you can log in or register a new account. It has to be a business account though.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: yeah, I don't know why you have to be a buisness. You get your bill with each order and either pay by check or with a credit card.

3_call_me_mama replied: We order form there all the time. You have to have a business because it is suppose to be a resale catalog, that is whythe prices are so cheap. So if you owned a store then you could resell and make $$. Beware, abotu making up fake business. THey do call you sometimes and verify buisness status. They sometimes request a tax ID number and ask how long you have been in business and how much you do in sales/ how much you make per year. So mak sure you have all that figured out. No guarentee that they will call but they can and do, (I've been called and i have a legit business ) apparently they have figured out that several people shop for their ownpurposes adn arent' really businesses and are tryign to crack down on it. But anyway... it is a great place for nice stuff at a bargain. ALso you CANNOT pay with credit card Even when you recieve your bill. Someitmes they will request that you prepay and you won't find that out until you get the little postcard in the mail asking you to do that, and other times they just let you order adn the stuff arrives quickly. If you don't have to prepay, you can send check or money order within 10 days after getting your stuff. If you prepay, you pay before and they bill you for the shipping and then you have 10 days to pay the shipping.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: They have never called me, though I get mine at work. When I pay for my stuff they get a personal check and I have never had any trouble with them. I guess I thought on the back of the bill you could pay with the credit card, but then again I have never really looked at the back I only send checks.

coasterqueen replied: WOW, I didn't know that it's for resale only. My mother and I have been a member of LTD for YEARS and we've never been called once or been questioned for what products we've bought.
