Let's tell a fact about ourselves - that we have never said before
TANNER'S MOM wrote: I have tiny toes..

#2..I have read the Bible front to back 2 times in my life. I know it needs to be more.

atlantamomof2 replied: Not really facts, but:
I want to, at some point in my life: 1) learn how to play the piano 2) write a novel 3) learn how to quilt 4) travel to Austria and Switzerland. 5) go to college
I've been thinking a lot about these aspirations(sp?) lately.
GavinsMommy replied: Hmmmmmm I dunno.......
Well, I started cheerleading at age 3 and quit when I was 12. So a long time. My sister cheered for a fourth or fifth grade football team and I would always run out on the field and try to cheer like her. So they eventually gave me my own uniform and let me cheer
Uh.....I am constantly brushing my hands off on my pants when I'm in a store. I feel like my hands get really dusty when I pick things up and it REALLY bothers me! My mom does it too...
I pick up everything in a restaurant such as salt shakers, ketchup bottles, etc. with a napkin. I never touch them directly with my hands. I'm a germaphobic!!! When I go to use the restroom, I also touch everything in there w/ a paper towel...even the door handle on my way out. Why wash your hands if your just going to touch the door handle where so many people that DIDN'T wash their hands touched? I do a lot of weird things to "avoid" those dreadful crawling bacteria!!! LOL.
I rub my feet together in my sleep over and over....my great grandmother did it, and I guess I just picked up the habit. I can be dead asleep and be doing it...
Josie83 replied: Interesting Mel! It'll be cool to find out new things about everyone on here. I can't think of many interesting things that I haven't told you lot before though

texasp3 replied: Gosh... this was a fun idea! Let's see... um...
My pinky fingers are really, REALLY little... this was actually a bit of a problem when I used to play piano as a kid.
I played piano until I was thirteen. I was living in Singapore and a very important piano teacher heard me play and asked to be my teacher. (You couldn't ask to be his student, only the other way around.) I was going through those STUPID adolescent rebellion years and misbehaved so badly at my lessons that my mother, in embarassment and probably total aggravation, told me I could quit if I wanted to. I did, thinking I had won some cosmic battle. Haha. Jokes on me... today I routinely kick myself around the house for being such a teenaged twit and wasting that increadible opportunity.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Marie~ did you know short pinky fingers are a sign of an underactive thyroid? I found that out when I went to a nutritionist/chiropractor 2 years ago.

jcc64 replied: I won the Jr Olympics in 50m breastroke when I was 12. I was the captain of my high school field hockey team. I was a Deadhead and toured around the country with them for many years (school and jobs permitting). I graduated college summa cum laude. I gobbled massive amounts of hallucinogenic drugs in my youth, have no regrets about it (in fact some of my most profound spiritual revelations occured during this period), but that lifestyle is long gone now. I'm sloppy and massively disorganized.

AshleyRose replied: I guess I will add this too... since I am telling it all LOL
I smoke pot on occasion. I find that this is much safer than drinking and you don't feel like complete crap the next day. Of course, we wouldn't do it in the house or anywhere near the baby and I won't smoke until I am done breastfeeding or should I say... supplementing with breastmilk which it has come out to now a days . We would also wait until she was asleep.. plus she sleeps through the night now and has been consistently .
also, at a really low point in my life, i had done ecstacy a few times but will never go that far again. the worst i have done is that and smoke marjuana.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Let's see now . . . I have the ugliest hands and feet on the planet. No kidding~I could win cash prizes for these suckers!!
I took piano lessons for 6 months in the 8th grade from my long time singing teacher but was so bad at it I couldn't stand to dissapoint him when I came in the room for a lesson and he would say, with a hopeful look on his face, "Is this a singing lesson?". Poor guy looked like he was in pain when I said "No, piano."
Subsequently, learned to play the mellophone in the 9th grade because I needed to play an instrument in addition to singing to win an Arian Award (my HS goal). I could play without marching but never got the hang of playing an marching. I was assistant row leader in a very good HS marching band and never played and marched at the same time all 3 years!
I was tourtured by my classmates all through elementary school because I was fat and wore glasses. The memory of it still makes me cry (even after lots of therapy!!)
