Let's think of things to be appreciative for... - your DH/DW/SO
CAMSMOM1 wrote: Today I have been thinking a lot about my DH (cause of our anniversary) and I wanted to start a post about why we appreciate our significant other. I know we all have those days, or weeks that we need to vent, or have our complaints...after all, our partners aren't perfect! I had just wrote a post about my DH not wanting to change diapers, and was venting! But today, he has been really helpful with Cameron, and attemped to change his diaper!
Anyways, I wanted us to reflect on the things we are thankful for in our relationships.
So I'll start:
I'm thankful for my Husband because:
1. He has always been there for me. Through all the hard times in my life, he was the one that helped me get through it, and was always by my side.
2. He is so funny! He is always doing little things to make me laugh, and we have such a great time together. The other day, the 3 of us were in the kitchen dancing and singing...we have a lot of fun times together.
3. He is a great provider. He works long hours, and still finds the time to call me from work to tell me that he loves me.
4. He is so great with the little things. Every Saturday he'll take an early lunch to bring Cam and I breakfast. He gives me a kiss before he leaves for work, and when he gets home. He sends me flowers almost every month, just to say that he loves me. And we have a date night at least once a month.
5. He is a great friend. He's the one person I can talk to about anything. He is a great listener. We love to do the same things/hobbies.
6. He is a great father. He loves to play with Cameron and does a lot of things with him. (ok...he doesn't change diapers..or baths) But he does adore his son, and every night they have a ritual where they go out in the garage and the sit in his car, turn up the radio loud, and Cameron pretends to drive. And when Justin is pulling up in the drive way, and Cameron hears his truck, he says, "Vroom, Vroom Dad!" And he knows he gets to spend time and play with him.
7. He has a great heart. He is always willing to help others in need, and is always there for his family and friends.
Oh I can go on and on! But today I wanted to remember all the things I'm greatful for, and how blessed I am to have a husband that loves me. Through thick and thin, we always make it through.

I am THANKFUL for my husband because:
1. He is the best friend I have ever had. There is nothing I can't tell him-nothing I can't depend on him to help me through.
2. He is an AWESOME provider for our family! He works LONG,HARD(with very little sleep ) hours and does not complain.
3. He makes me laugh. We find humor in just about everything together. I can be silly and goofy and he still loves me!
4. He is so smart. He thinks I am too!
5. Even after 10 years he makes me feel like I am the only woman in the room. He makes sure I know he is in love with me-more now than ever!
6. He is an AMAZING daddy! He is SOOO GOOD with Tay.
I could keep going-I am BLESSED to be married to such an INCREDIBLE man!
CAMSMOM1 replied:
I was thinking the SAME thing! I guess we have some naughty husbands and unhappy wives!
At least 2 people replied with some good things to say about their men!
luvmykids replied: Ok, today it isn't easy for me to do this but maybe that's why I should:
1. He makes me laugh, always, even if I don't want to. 2. He's a visionary, something which drives me crazy sometimes, but I admire him so much for always thinking outside of the box. 3. He's HOT! 4. Although I nag him (once in a while) he never nags me about the house, crappy dinners, spending too much money, etc. 5. He lightens me up, he's the life of the party even when there isn't a party! 6. He's super affectionate.
I'm really trying to make it to 10
7. He's generous 8. He dreams big, and because of it my life is better. (And I'm learning to dream bigger too) 9. He totally accepts me for who I am 10. He's passionate. When he does something, he really goes for it.
luvmykids replied: BTW, Happy Anniversary Ann!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I am appreciative of Chris because: ((in no particular order))
1) He works long hours doing what he loves, but he is willing to put that aside to spend more time at home with us. 2) He calls us to let us know he is thinking of us, and that he too loves us. 3) He know that I love to receive greeting cards, and every now and again for no reason, he picks a special one out. 4) He really is a great father, that goes out with his friends (on seldom occasions) only when the girls are down for the night. 5) he will bend over backwards, and give his last dollar to a friend in need. 6) He has a warm personality, that matches his warm heart. 7) He is a momma's boy~ that is not afraid to show it in public, but in turn he is able to love us more, because he has respect for women. 8) He is a Christian man, that was designed for me by HIM. 9) He claims he is not romantic, in the traditional sense, he is to me. I am happier with every little 'romantic' thing that he does. 10) Once he gives, he gives it his all. Loving others is no exception. 11) We have had our valley days, and our mountain top days~ he has stuck with me throughout.
There is so much more, but I think this covers the surface. 12) Most importantly, he has put up with me for over 8yrs!!! That is an incredible feat, that deserves all the gratitude!!
booey2 replied: Well he has been p'ing me off lately but I will try and see how far I get:
1) He loves me for who I am not what I look like.(he met me at my lightest of around 145pounds and has stayed with me to my current size double that or more)
2) He is a great provider to us and the boys
3) He knows how to rock my world and is very attentive that way
4) He quit smoking 2 years ago this February.
5) He has a high tolerance to the little things I do to annoy him.
Okay that is all I have for now I am still p'd at him so I will try later to come up with more.
Oh...
6) He puts up with my dysfunctional family
remtana replied: I appreciate my DH becuase he gets up with my 9month old daughter at night so I can get sleep to get our other daughters off to school. I have epilepsy and if I don't get enough sleep, then I have seizures. My DH knows that if I don't get enough sleep, he has to take the girls to school!
He works nights and gets home at around 2:00 a.m. so he wants to sleep until around 10:00, or later if he had a bad night with the baby.

I appreciate that he loves me. Things get really hard at times (my attitude) but he still keeps me around, even if I have to beg him to keep me, he still does.
