Little scare...

Swood75 replied: Did you spot the whole pregnancy?? It threw me for a loop b/c of being 15 weeks..I guess I just wasn't expecting it since I didn't have it the other 2 times..

Swood75 replied: I feel fine,Thanks for asking..That is the weird thing..I felt fine this morning..It just scared me b/c of it not ever happening before..All,I want is for this baby to get here healthy and happy..I don't think my next appt is ever gonna get here though LOL(I just went last week)...(Sept 3)I will be super releived when it does and they say everything is fine..I don't know why I have been so paranoid this time around..I will get my "BIG" u/s about a week or 2 after my next appt..

my2monkeyboys replied: Have you Done the Deed in the past 48 hrs? If so, it could very easily be from that. I've spotted with both of mine, just a few days ago with this one, as a matter of fact. I have my appt tomorrow just to make sure it's nothing else since I'm so far along, but it happened just the same as always -- within a day or so of relations. It sounds to me like that is all it is, but I'll keep you in my prayers all the same.

Swood75 replied: No,(unfortunately for DH,that isn't the case)LOL..He tells me all the time since I got pregnant I never want "it" anymore...LOL...

my2monkeyboys replied: I know the feeling... or rather, DH knows the feeling. This time I haven't wanted it at all, and after almost 3 weeks we finally do and then I spot the next day. He said, that's great, now I know I'll never get any again until after he's born! (Not that he would want to, just in case it caused a problem, but you know...)
You know, thinking about it, one time about 2 months ago a spotted for no apparent reason. We had not DTD, and the dr. had mentioned that whenever you go through big growth spurts that sometimes small capillaries can pop (from anything from straining to potty to picking up/pulling on something the wrong way, etc) and can cause a small bit spotting.
Ah, the stress of pregnancy!

Swood75 replied: WOW..You just made me fell a WHOLE lot better..Maybe that is all it was..I have had to strain to use the br a little yesterday due to constipation..Maybe that is it??BTW,I never had constipation with the other 2 either..LOL...This pregnancy is quite a bit different..

my2monkeyboys replied: Glad I could help. I've learned that if you are spotting, go lay down with your feet elevated, drink a nice glass of water and wait about 30-60 min. If it hasn't stopped (or isn't at least lessening), then call the dr. Usually though they'll ask if it's heavy or if you're having any cramps. If not, they generally will have to rest a bit more and see what happens. I've done this quite a few times, so far with no ill effects. Always make sure you let the dr. know when it happens though, just in case he wants to see you.
