Live Chat....How does it work???? - Can anyone help me with this?

mommymonster replied: I had gotten on their too and It will not let me type in the grey box. I am wondering if we are missing something?

CAMSMOM1 replied: Brandi....I cleared the screen...and it still says "server not found" and it shows me a face. Maybe my computer won't let me download the java software for it?

kayla's mama replied: I don't know how I got in there without any problems.
All I did was click the Live Chat, put in my user name, run something....I didn't download it, let it do its thing, then I cleared my screen and used the white bar on the bottom to type.

CAMSMOM1 replied: Man...this is ticking me off!!! What's going on? I have a brand new computer, it should let me in?! I get to the grey box, I can type in the white box, but it won't let me enter it, because it says "server not found, connection" This was going to be such a great idea, and so much fun!!! Why????? I wish a moderator was on right now to help.

luvmykids replied: I don't know, I just followed the instructions and it did let me in, I typed in the white bar at the bottom and it posted what I typed. Maybe your computers have some kind of protection that won't let you in for whatever reason? I know I had to say it was ok for Java to create firewall rules or something like that, HTH.

C&K*s Mommie replied: we have Java on our computer anyhow, because of Poppit!, but I had to do the same as Monica and give it permission to run. I got in fine, too. Do you have your pop-up blocker settings set to allow pop-ups for this website? Maybe it is trying to come through but it is being stopped because of the blocker. A good way to know also, is if when you recieve a PM, it comes up as a pop-up. Otherwise you will know only if you see # personal messages in the corner.

click on Live Chat
it will give you the option to login, and it should walk you one more step till you get in.

That's EXACTLY what my problem is. My computer won't let me install Java because it says the "Publisher" is unknown. And I have no way of over riding my computer, to allow it to download.

How do I do that? It stops me everytime I try to download it?

C&K*s Mommie replied: Not 100% sure how to override it, but our comp gives up the option of running an unknown program or cancelling. Only if I am determined and sure this is what I want, will I proceed.
