MOTHER! - Where did this come from?
luvmykids wrote: I don't know how it started but for a week now Kylie has been calling me MOTHER. "I love you MOTHER" or "Can I please have some milk MOTHER?" She says it just like that too. And Macie tries but it comes out Mudder. Even the sweetest moments, like "Snuggle with me mommy" have been replace by "Snuggle with me MUDDER"

Way down East coast in Canada.
CosmetologyMommy replied: lol
A&A'smommy replied: I went through that stage when I was about her age
Bee_Kay replied: Uh huh... just wait Monica.
My kids are 14 and 13 and once in awhile, they say (jokingly) in a stern way "BARBARA!"
I just give them "the look".
~~*Missi*~~ replied: LOL I still get MOMMIE and DADDIE... Mother would be odd. LIke i only use it to this day when i am trying to get a point acrossed or something

C&K*s Mommie replied: how sweet!
jacobsmama replied: That is funny!
CAMSMOM1 replied: Your kiddos are always cracking me up. I loved how Colt was wearing Kylie's clothes today with his cowboy hat. You have non-stop entertainment at your place.
luvmykids replied: Yeah that was a whole other ballgame though! I wish I had my camera, that pic would've been very valuable later in his life!
For the record, he was wearing a lime green skirt and a hot pink shirt, her black patent church shoes, and his cowboy hat. When I made him start taking it all off, he was wearing her panties too!
Nina J replied: My mother made me call her 'mother', I've never called her anything else. I don't really like it though.
Emily calls me Mama, or Ma. I'm not sure why, but she always has since she could talk.
PhiMuMommy replied: that's funny.. my son just asked me the other day if he can call me mom.. he was soo cute about it.. he crawled up in my lap and said "mommy... can i call you mom?" and i was like sure.. then he goes. "mom i love you" ... that is just funny to me.
MommyToAshley replied: how funny!!
And, I am cracking up at the mental picture of Colt dressed in Kylie's clothes!
3xsthefun replied: How funny!
b&bsmom replied: I only get mother when dd is upset with me about something. too funny!!!
kit_kats_mom replied: Do they watch Little bear? Katherine has started doing that since she's watched it. He calls his parents mother and father bear.
amymom replied: My dd has always called me mother or rarely, mom. I never could get her to say Mommy. I do not know why. She tried Maaa a few times and I put a squash to that, I did NOT like that. Mother seems so formal to me, but it is what she has stuck with. My parents are deceased and I still refer to them as Mommy & Daddy, just been the way it has always been.
But for my dd I am Mother or Mom! very formal
MyLuvBugs replied: Awwww That's too cute! I wonder if she got that from a friend or the TV or something.
Bee_Kay replied:
LOL Monica! That is too funny!
I have a pic of Tyler when he was about 2 years old and he has on Ashley's swimsuit..... he loved it In the background, is Ashley having an emotional meltdown because she was so p***ed that he had it on!!!

Edward's Mommy replied: At least it's not said in a disrespectful tone! But it's really cute!! And sweet!
luvmykids replied: Someone mentioned how formal it is, I guess thats what I get a kick out of
holley79 replied: That is too funny. Hopefully she won't start with the "Mommy Dearest" that use to tick my mom off so bad.
I would go around saying, "No wire hangers in this closet" Sickening I know.
