Maddie is reading!

She is learning by phonics so when she sees a letter from the alphabet she says the sound it makes. It is sweet to watch them and listen to them. I need to record it.

She is also learning to write and spell her name. She is very interested in spelling. I'm glad. Now, if I can get her interested in numbers her future will look pretty bright.

MomToMany replied: Hey, that's just awesome!! What an great Daddy that is!! My 4 yr old doesn't do that much! He likes to LOOK at books, and have them reead to him, but he's nowhere near ready to read on his own. I don't have the patience to teach him, though.
