Maddie isn't feeling well
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: Maddie has her V-Day party tomorrow at school and she isn't feeling well today. She has been sleeping a lot and it looks like she has a cold in her eye. It has been watering and trying to get matted up. That and her nose is running some. Last night around midnight she came into our room and DH put her in bed with us and cuddled with her. It has been months since she has done that so I kind of figured something was wrong. She has been so healthy. We need some stay well vibes around here.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: She isn't feeling better, but she is at school. She has a short day today and we will come home after the party and take a nap. She doesn't have fever, but she slept on our floor last night and I could tell she was having trouble breathing through her nose. DH said she talked all night in her sleep. She acts okay, but sounds terrible. She has a cough, she is sneezing and she has a runny nose today. I just hate when she feels bad. DH told me to hold her all day. LOL! I probably will!
booey2 replied: Sorry to hear she is still yucky. Have you put a vapourizer on I find this helps when they get all stuffy like that, the extra moisture in the air helps them breath easier. Hope she feels better soon.
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
Good idea! I don't know why I didn't think of that. The heat is probably drying her out and making it worse. Thank you! I will do this at nap time and tonight as well.
booey2 replied: Glad I could help, our doc said until spring hits here that I should keep the house as damp as a swamp, or in his words "swampy", so that they would not get dried out by the furnace heat.
DansMom replied: Poor Maddie!! Daniel's just getting over something similar. It's in his chest now, but the runny nose is over. Hugs and get better soon!!!
