This is just horrible. Where are these people coming from? Both these parents deserve severe punishment. Is jail an adequate punishment for hurting a child? I don't think so.

It infuriates me to know that the "Mother" of this child, the person who is supposed to care for her and protect her, just stood by and did nothing about it. And I can't believe some people are defending him, saying he was a nice guy and would never hurt a child. Give me a break, it's always the nice guy! They should all be shot. JMO!

Yea but there are codes of ethics among criminals. He won't make it in GP. You can kill your neighbor or your best friend but by God you better not touch a child or elderly. I love when they get stuck in GP. JMO

The mother also sickens me.

true true - my boss is a corrections officer in Marcy, NY and he was telling me about this today - he said knowing how high profile the case will become, the jerk will probably be put in safe housing (my boss is in charge of the high-profile criminals who would get killed in GP) ... what an sicko. I just don't understand why people do things like this, and so frequently???
