Married before having kids?

I was unmarried both times when i got pregnant! Next time i will be married!

mckayleesmom replied: We were married before she was born...we actually found out she was on her way a couple days before we got married....so technically I was preggo before the big day.

amymom replied: We were married too many years before we had kids. We tried forever and didn't get pg, but then (six years along) when we stopped worring about it and discussed other options My son came along. .....Then my daughter 6 years later. I guess six is our lucky number

TeagansMom609 replied: I wasn't married when we had Teagan. Horse before the carriage, carriage before the horse, does it really matter? I think society made it a "rule" a long time ago that you just HAD to be married in order to have kids or you were, and still are frowned upon.
Of course Shawn and I are married now, but having Teagan had nothing to do with it or we would have gotten married while I was pregnant. Whats the difference if your really serious with someone and have a baby, or your married and have a baby? It doesnt mean that the married couples have better chances of staying together then those who aren't married. Life's uncertain in all cases, if you want kids have them, at the right time of course, and with the right person. Marriage or not.

Mommy2BAK replied: I was pregnant when John and I got married, but we had been together for five years, so it wasn't like a one night stand sort of thing at all. But what does it really matter ya know?

My2Beauties replied: I wasn't married before I had Hanna. We had talked about marriage but that was put on the back burner when we realized we were going to have a child, just because of the expense involved with the wedding, we had to buy things for Hanna! We're married now and that is all that matters!

This time, my DH and I were married for 7 months before I got pg with Kyrie. Got pg with Dallas just around our 2nd anniversary.

We would have got married anyway though.
