Material proof of my sleep deprived stupidiy

My company christmas party was tonight. I wore a top that I bought last month but that I hadn't worn until tonight. PUlled it off of the hangar and put it on then left for the party with DH (who is also sleep deprived but not quite to the extreme levels I am). Just got home from the party & was changing when I noticed that the tag is still on the back of the shirt hanging out of the collar AND there's a plastic sticker on the front advertising my size to everyone. OMG! Now this would be mortifying enough if I saw these people everyday and they knew that 1. my DD was teething and 2. I usually look pretty put together but NOOOOOOOOOOO. I work from home and out of the 50 or so people there, I knew 3 of them well. Crap! They probably are all like "ya' good thing the poor woman works at home...she can't even dress herself to go out in public" geez I'm so embarassed. DH is in trouble too. I asked him if I looked ok before we left and he gave me a cursory glance and said yeah. LOL I know who not to listen to anymore for fashion advise, he probably thought it was the new hip trend or something. Luckily I have long hair which probably covered up the tag on the back.
coasterqueen replied: OMG Cary, I am ROFL right now. Sorry, but it is funny I'm sure no one noticed, though

Oh man Cary. I think you should ask Santa to bring you sleep for Christmas. I remember what it's like to be sleep deprived and how difficult it was to think in a straight line. I'm sure no one saw the tag with your long hair.
My2Carebears replied: LoL Sorry, but had to laugh. That would be embrassing!!! Hopefully no one really noticed!!
kimberley replied: LOL! you have no idea how many times i have done the same thing. luckily jamie notices these things and fixes me
i am sure no one saw it through your hair. i know if i was at that party i would have pulled you aside and mentioned it even if i didn`t know you. just blame it on mommy brain!
supermom replied: And we all do understand sleep deprivation but sorry, everyone is right, it's pretty funny!! Teehee - HUGS and here's hoping you get some more sleep over the holiday.....
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww sorry that happend, it was kinda funny and I had the sticker on the front of me once also but thankfully someone was nice enough to point it out!
CantWait replied: omg, I'm sorry but that is too funny to your dh, LOL. Here's to hoping you get more sleep.

DansMom replied: I'm sympathizing!! Just do your best to bury the memory. It will fade over time
I'm a manager and it's my job to hand out the paychecks. Well, in my sleep deprived state on Thursday I used one of my employee's paychecks as a bookmarker in a batch journals I was processing and ended up in a panic when I couldn't locate the thing. It was found by someone in another department later that day when they were going through the journals. It was like the fifth thing I did that week that was incredibly stupid like that. I guess 3-5 hours isn't enough, at least not for months on end.
MommyToAshley replied: I don't mean to laugh, but that is a funny story... LOL
I am sure no one noticed because I think someone would have pointed it out. I know I would have quietly mentioned it to someone.
ediep replied: if I were there, I would have told you
