Crystalina wrote: Matthew Roloff from TLC's 'Little People Big Wold'.

Story

dry.gif I really like him too.

cameragirl21 replied: i totally love that guy!
not anymore, though. i think a DUI is totally unacceptable. sleep.gif

Cece00 replied: Thats a shame.

You know what I love- when ppl look all happy in their mugshots. I've never been arrested but I just dont think I'd put my "cheese!" face on if I had been...

Calimama replied: Sick. What kind of example does that set for his own teenagers? dry.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: What do ppl. think that ppl. are perfect? It doesnt matter who you are no one is 100% and never will be reguardless everyone makes mistakes just dont repete them learn from them. wink.gif

Crystalina replied:
I understand what your saying but I just don't understand why people do that stupid stunt. Don't even worry about the fact about getting arrested but it only takes one idiotic move like this to kill someone else's kid. dry.gif

I'm not saying I will not watch the show but I'm highly disappointed in (not only him) but anyone who would do this. Famous or not.

Mommy2BAK replied: Ahh I had no idea, and I really liked him!

I just find driving drunk COMPLETELY unacceptable, my dad just got released yesterday after nearly a year in jail for his 5th DWI, yes I said FIFTH!!! I understand people make mistakes, but I just find that one in particular to be COMPLETELY UNNACEPTABLE!!! mad.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
Oh I know what your saying and I agree wink.gif
I hope he learned from this bc most likey he has done it before but I hope this is the last.

Calimama replied:
I hope so. I never thought he was perfect, I just thought he had more sense than to get the behind the wheel drunk. It's sad.

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: wow ohmy.gif

luvmykids replied: Wow, I'm really bummed to hear that sad.gif

I'm with Lisa, nobody is perfect, but I'm also in agreement that DUI is terrible and a choice someone makes when getting behind the wheel dry.gif

Anthony275 replied: WHAT?! i just read an email he sent out today too!!

Crystalina replied:
I guess it happend about a month ago if I read it right. Or almost a month ago. I guess they've just kept it quiet until TMZ found out.

Anthony275 replied: well i googled it and i found other articles on it

CantWait replied: mad.gif sad.gif
What a shame.

lisar replied:
I agree.

But his "CHEESE" face is cause he was drunk.

holley79 replied: I'm sorry but everyone makes a mistake. I am 100% against DD but we all make stupid mistakes at some time or another. Maybe not DD but we have all done something. It's just like Ty from Extreme Home makeover. He's a wonderful guy who made a freaking mistake.

BAC'sMom replied: This happen back on June 19th. The story is breaking now because he went to court Monday and plead not guilty.

luvmykids replied:
I was thinking about this earlier this morning, and it kind of contradicts how I've always felt about driving drunk....we are angry with these people for using poor judgement but what do we expect, they're DRUNK!

Hopefully it is a lesson learned and doesn't happen again, in both cases.

cameragirl21 replied: i agree everyone makes mistakes but i think for an adult who has teenage children, there is no excuse for driving drunk. ever.
if he were a teenager or a college student, i *might* have agreed that it's just a youthful indiscretion but imo what he did was unforgivable.
i know people who have lost children to drunk drivers...there is no excuse, period.
jmo of course.

PrairieMom replied:
what did Ty do?

Calimama replied:
I agree, but then I sit there and think what if he had killed someone? KWIM? I bet that family would see it more than a stupid mistake. I do hope he learns from this and NEVER puts himself in a situation where that could potentially happen.

ETA: I wonder if he'll go to jail..

luvmykids replied: Just to clarify, I'm not excusing it in any way nor do I take DD lightly wink.gif

holley79 replied:
We can do whatevers all day long. He didn't kill anyone. He made a mistake. Hopefully he has learned his lesson. With this being said, I am not for DD. I lost my best friend to DD. I am a MADD member. I see what these families go through and how they are affected by DD. It's sad. It's preventable, yes. We can plaque him as an evil person and no longer like him because he made a mistake. My best friend drove drunk one night and dang near killed someone. I don't dislike her and I don't think she's evil. She made a mistake and she learned from that mistake.

ETA: This is his first ever DUI he probably will get a 6 months to a year probation.

holley79 replied:
Ty got popped for a DUI a few months back. He went public and apoligized.

Crystalina replied:
What I don't understand is why people are still doing this crap. I mean, famous or not...nice person or not....Why? They know better. I don't care if they are drunk (they weren't drunk before they made the choice to drink). There's no excuse for it. If you even think you may drink and drive then don't drink somewhere you may have to leave from. I'm going to use him as an example since he's the reason this thread was started, why didn't he call a cab? I'm sure he can afford a cab. If you are responsible enough to drive somewhere and drink then be responsible enough NOT to get on the roads where innocent people are. What's so hard about that? Maybe I'm missing something but I don't get it. dry.gif

They really should make a law that if you have no common sense you can't have a drink. wink.gif

cameragirl21 replied: ITA with Crystal, i don't care that he didn't kill anyone, i think our society should have a zero tolerance policy for DD, period.
a young girl in my neighborhood was killed by a DD in broad daylight, in the middle of the day while she was out rollerblading...the DD pinned her to a tree and she died.
here's the worst part--the young girl was 16, the DD was a 17 year old girl. 2 lives destroyed, all in one day. sleep.gif
no excuses, no tolerance, ever, imo.

MotherForever2043 replied: Matt Roloff got arrested for DUI? ohmy.gif I thought that if he ever got arrested it would be for someting about construction, illegal documents or something, sinc ehe was always building things, and in buisness stuff. You know? Not drinking unsure.gif I still will continue to watch the show though.

Crystalina replied:
Me too. smile.gif

Cece00 replied:
I know its because he was drunk...I just think its funny. I think I'd be crying even if I was drunk.
