punkeemunkee'smom wrote: I know Brianne posted about this stuff the other day. Tay saw the commercial about a week ago and has been asking for it rolleyes.gif Well truth be told I wanted to play it too laugh.gif Sooo I bought it and have been waiting for 10 stars on the good behavior chart (that was the deal) emlaugh.gif Tonight Tay cleaned her own room so I decided to give it to her blush.gif (just one of the colors wink.gif ) This is the coolest stuff ever cool.gif laugh.gif It is kinda like wet sand-holds it shape- but not wet blink.gif rolling_smile.gif I am fascinated rolling_smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: does it stick like floam?? because there is still floam on mya's closet dry.gif

moped replied: Tell me more....I have no idea what this is

luvmykids replied: Kylie wants that stuff soooo bad, glad to hear a good review thumb.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied:
Nope it does not stick like Floam thumb.gif I am telling you this stuff is so wierd-we have made sand-dough before in Girlscouts(wayyy back when) laugh.gif But that is more like a grainy playdough-this stuff looks like wet sand ,that you would build a sand castle out of ,when you mold it it holds that shape and becomes smooth and firm but you can crumble it right back up-it is not plyable like playdough though not a big clump in the container-I don't know how else to explain it rolleyes.gif Just think Wet sand look-not wet-and not sticky- wacko.gif rolling_smile.gif I am gonna be playing with this stuff tomorrow too rolling_smile.gif

Oh and it floats-Tay and I made a moon sand boat- rolling_smile.gif

Jen~If you can't find it up there I will mail you some emlaugh.gif Jack may be too young BUT you would love this stuff emlaugh.gif

Brias3 replied: Oh, cool! I keep forgetting about it. Everytime the commercial comes on, the kids beg for me to order it and it looks fun, I just keep on forgetting!

mckayleesmom replied: McKaylee drools over that commercial. Everytime it comes on I hear a big "WOOOOOW"......I think I will suprise McKaylee for Christmas.

MoonMama replied: Wow I have not seen this stuff ether but I am very intrigued. Where do I get it I NEED some! blush.gif rolling_smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I have yet to see those commercials. Where did you find it at? Sounds interesting.

Nadia, I feel your pain about the Floam. Our dog was no longer furry & white one day, he was purple and blue with the dried Floam stuck to his fur. rolleyes.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: Is it just called moon sand? I am going to have to look that up. I havent seen a commercial here either. I know Caleb would love it!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Do you have to order it? It's not in stores, right? I think I'll get some for the kids...they'll love it.

I'm glad Tay cleaned her room wink.gif thumb.gif

Crystalina replied: This is the first I've heard of this also so I Googled it and got this http://www.toysrus.com/sm-moon-sand-kit--pi-2316774.html . You can get it at Toys R Us. I may have to pick some up. biggrin.gif Thanks for the reccomendation! hug.gif

ETA: 18 mos. is the starting age? I don't know about that. They are the experts though. happy.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied:

I would not give this to an 18 month old-it is absolutely for older kids! 18 month olds would probably love the feel of it though wink.gif

Oh I should mention we used a big poster board to play with it on. It is definately a dining room table or covered area activity smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: Awsome! thanks for the Helpful review Abbie! thumb.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I took a picture of it laugh.gif The shapes that are on top are shapes that are in the lid of the container it comes in,just to give you an idea of how it forms. wink.gif

TheOaf66 replied: Tanner saw the commercial too (stupid advertisers) and he wants it as well

holley79 replied: I have yet to see the commercial but googled it also. The website I found said ages 3 and up.

He goes crazy everytime he sees the commercial. Last year it was Floam, now it's the moon sand. I think Santa may have to bring it;).

holley79 replied:
I was thinking the same thing Lisa. rolling_smile.gif I can say I'm buying it for when Annika is old enough to play with it. You never know they may quit making the stuff. emlaugh.gif
