More prayers for my SIL - Things are not looking good at all

She was alert enough to talk to us a little, but she was starting to get confused and having a hard time remembering things. They're still not sure where the infection started or what caused it to get so bad, but it's looking like she will not be with us for much longer at all.

Her Mom called today, very very upset, and said that the Dr. came in and told them that her heart is only pumping at 15% of what it should be. All of the valves of her heart are leaking, and her liver is leaking toxins back into her body. It's only a matter of time until she goes into cardiac arrest.

My step mom is going back down there tonight, but they are not taking my nieces back to see her since she is in such bad shape. They did get to see her on Monday and talk to her and pretty much say their goodbyes. She told each of the girls that she loves them and told them to be good, and do good in school. It's probably better that they remember her that way than to see her like she is now and remember her that way.

I don't think there is much that can be done for Tonya, but if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers it would be much appreciated. Maybe even say a special prayer for my nieces if you could.

Becky is 13, Brittany is 10 and Elizabeth is 7. They've already been through alot, and this is really taking it's toll on them.
