My Little helper
TLCDad wrote: We've been doing yard work this afternoon including cutting grass, trimming, pulling up weeds, etc and Ashley was my little helper. She came out to the backyard with me and helped me pick up all the sticks in the yard (we have alot of trees). She did a very good job and had a lot of fun! She did not want to stop and cried when I we had to go back to the front yard where mommy was working. Looks like I'll have a nice clean looking backyard this year!
kimberley replied: awww what a big girl! sounds like fun! i can't wait to do stuff like that with Jade.
3_call_me_mama replied: Sounds like a good time:) Cameron LOVES to clean the yard, but generally spreads teh clipping all ove r the place after Maybe in a few years you can teach her how to MOW !
ian'smommy replied: We have a lot of trees as well... Ian loves to help in the yard... Makes him feel so important... Glad she enjoyed it... Take her help while she still wants to give it...
A&A'smommy replied: awwwww what a good girl!!!
MommyToAshley replied: She's such a Daddy's girl, loves to do anything Daddy does. She had fun with her little kid size rake as well.
Now if I could just get her as excited about picking up her toys.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aw, what a sweetheart! I loved helping my Daddy when I was a little girl too ~ I followed him everywhere.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol just have Rod do it Dee Dee, then maybe she'll want to!
5littleladies replied: That's so cute! My girls LOVE to do yardwork. Given a choice between helping mommy in the house and helping daddy in the yard, they will pick daddy everytime. Not that I blame them though.
My2Beauties replied: Awww she is such a big girl! That is so sweet!
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww what a sweetie
I agree got daddy to pick up her toys and then maybe she will help plus it gives you a break
coasterqueen replied: Well that's a plus! Now if you could just teach her how to mow.
DH wants to buy one of those robot mowers so he doesn't have to mow...although I don't know why because I do all the mowing.
You know if you have any dandelions you can offer her a penny per dandelion that she picks. My dad did that for us...course we were older and smarter. We knew it'd take too many to make any money.
MommyToAshley replied: We get off cheap, she loves to pick dandelions... she thinks they are pretty! Our neighbors love when Ashley walks by their house, she picks the dandelions along the way.
mammag replied: What a good helper! Yep, time to go start cleaning the room daddy!!!
My kids pick the dandelions to........only problem is they also rip them apart and throw them all over the yard.
gr33n3y3z replied: That is so cute Daddys little helper
DansMom replied: Adorable!! Daniel has his own little rake---he loves yardwork too
chloe&tysmommy replied: awww that is so sweet
